I was watching "Jeopardy" and learned something I hope won't happen on this show. But if it lasts long enough and they try to be historically accurate, which hasn't really happened so far, Mary will be executed.

I had time over the weekend to watch one more episode. It's the one where they were cleaning up from The Plague. Hard to watch.
I enjoy seeing Mary say things like, "I am your QUEEN. You WILL obey." Still, this one man was not intimidated.
I'm just relieved they were able to save Nostradamus from a terrible death. Or any kind of death.

I'm in trouble. Unless "Bad Judge", which has been cancelled, airs its finale this week, I will have to remember to watch this show LIVE with an antenna and without the ability to tape it in case I miss something and want to go back.
Or "Two and a Half Men". I can actually get through that one without having to go back.
Or I can find a way to record the second half-hour after "Two and a Half Men" is over, during a commercial break.
But the last time I tried watching either network with an antenna, I got just enough interference for it to be annoying. And in the age of digital TV, interference is worse than it used to be.
A third option is "Scandal", on the channel least likely to have interference problems, but that is NOT going to happen.
A fourth option is watching the new show "Backstrom" on the channel the other TV with an antenna is already on. That TV usually gets good results with that channel, especially later in the evening, but I sort of doubt I'll be able to get through it without going back to watch something I missed. And there are nights when "Roy's Folks" does get interference. For the few minutes that lasts, I can hold the antenna in my hand and that usually works. For an hour, no.

Even before I find out if "Bad Judge" airs this week (though last week's episode was called "Case Closed", which is a good name for a finale), I have to watch last week's "Reign" online in case they don't repeat it.
When I was watching "The Flash" on Thursday, I didn't notice what was happening. When I finished, I switched to an old episode of "Reign" that I had not seen but paused it since I had to go in and watch a bunch of other shows in the other room. Normally, since I didn't watch "Jeopardy" in the room where I watched "The Flash", I would watch "Jeopardy" in the other room and delete it in the room where I normally watch when I was finished. But I finished watching "Parenthood" so late that I didn't bother. And so I watched the old "Reign" episode Friday. Turning on the TV, I only saw where I had paused "Reign". Had I not paused to make SURE I would watch, and just restarted instead, I would have seen "searching for signal". I also lost "Undercover Boss" and several other shows because I didn't see that message until I finally decided I had time to watch "Jeopardy" before going to bed, but I watched it in the other room and then deleted it in the usual room. It's fortunate I tape that on both machines. I fixed the loose cable and there was Dave. But I couldn't hear him. There is a wire for sound coming from the TiVo. That one was loose too!
So I saw the episode with the coronation of Francis and Mary. Mary tries desperately to feed her starving people and doesn't think there should be a party, but she has to make deals Francis isn't willing to honor, and that one man who controls so much of the grain wants a role in making policy. Francis won't do it. And Francis insists spending money on the party is the only way to show they aren't weak. The German almost goes home, but some prisoners jailed just for being Protestant have to be let out. They are missing. It gets complicated. but there is finally a happy ending of sorts. Meanwhile, the rich don't care about what happens to the poor. They just want their party.

I messed up again. While watching "The Flash", I realized it was getting close to 9:00. I had a season pass, so it will record, right? My only problem would have been "Bad Judge", and that's cancelled. I didn't take a break, and in fact, once the show was over had other stuff to do, then I went in to watch. Well, watch something.
But it didn't record! I went to the listings and said to record. Sometimes, for some reason, I am able to get the entire episode even if I start in the middle. Time Warner has this feature but you pay. I'm not sure where I'm getting it but TiVo does it sometimes. Not this time. So I started when that woman confessed to killing the twins. Next week, I'll have to see the first few minutes online. Well, that's better than seeing the whole thing online.
That was weird seeing Henry. I thought it was a flashback but clearly he is a ghost. I don't remember much else about the episode so I'll wait to comment.

I forgot to watch the rest of the episode online. I knew there was something I was forgetting.
I enjoyed watching the twins play, but other than that it was pretty depressing.

Wow. I finally saw the rest of that episode. It was hard because it kept cutting off. Even when I thought it was up to the point where I had seen it, a commercial break! And it kept shutting down during the commercials, though if you start it again you can sometimes avoid commercials. Somehow they would put commercial breaks in the middle of a sentence.
But after the commercials we found out Henry had gotten the nanny into his bed.
At least we had some comedy. I forget which week but Catherine had to be put in that contraption to cure her STD.
And then we found out it was just poison.
Yes, I said "which week". It's probably fortunate given that I almost lost some of the programs I wanted to watch, but somehow I did not record this show. I made sure I will this week. It wouldn't have due to a "Big Bang Theory" rerun. Something like that must have happened this week. There is no reason to watch a rerun I have seen.

I haven't seen it yet but I did make sure it would record. I believe I saw it on the list.
Now the question is will I get enough shows watched over the next few days to keep it from being deleted?

If I had been more careful maybe this wouldn't have gotten deleted. As I started watching shows last night it was still there. But I didn't have time to watch all of them and I must not have extended the time on this show. Though if I had I might have ended up losing something more important.
I plan to go to the library tomorrow and I have to watch another episode I lost of another series. Yes, both of these will likely be repeated. But what if they aren't?

I couldn't find the latest episode yesterday morning but by afternoon it was there. I don't think I saw the ending because after numerous glitches that caused me to have to start again (and it has a button for "resume") I finally couldn't get anything to work.
Mary sure is pretty. Kenna is tan. How is that possible 400 years before tanning beds?
Greer was funny. And I meant to say last week that I was enjoying see Claude be funny.

And Greer helped that hooker who lost her hair. That was nice of her. But now the girl is getting too many advantages.
Sad news about Mary's mother, but she is mean.
I guess we can give up hope of Mary and Francis producing an heir. I thought I had seen them trying to have a child, but there are some older episodes I watched recently.

I forgot to mention Mary looked so plain at the funeral. Images are clearer on the computer but I find it strange that Mary looked so different.

I'm in the middle of last night's episode.
Apparently Francis and Mary are finished. Francis is already cheating even after indicating he wouldn't. Mary hasn't done the one thing that would qualify as cheating, but apparently she is.

I still don't understand what is going on with Mary and the man who wants to be Elizabeth's king. and I thought he couldn't be king anyway. The husband of Elizabeth II is called a prince.

The last episode i saw would have been the one where Catherine learns that she was poisoned courtesy of Henry's bible. If i'm not mistaken that would have been episode 12 "Banished". I will try as hard as i can to forget reading the posts you made after that episode but from what i have read, the show seems to be taking a dark turn.

Yeah. I don't like where any of this is headed. I really should do a better job of labelling spoilers.
Now that "Two and a Half Men" has been cancelled, I usually get this show on the other machine. But I should make sure every week. After all, in most cases I already saw "Big Bang Theory", but I've been losing a lot of those so I shouldn't be too quick to cancel a rerun.

Yep. I realized that after i posted.
I'm all caught up now. And despite the way you described it, i wouldn't call the show dark at all. In fact, the one word i would use to describe the show at the moment would be sad. My backup word- dramatic And what in the he double hockey sticks was up with all the sex? Mary/Conde, Francis/Narcisse's niece, Katherine/Narcisse. If the guys weren't so good looking i might mistakenly think that i'm watching Gossip Girl instead.

I liked two things about the episode and I don't think you'd mind seeing these.
Greer's man liked her outfit and so did I. I didn't think that style even existed way back then.
Claude was funny. I can't say why she was in the situation she was in, but she had a good time. Too good a time.

It has recorded. I had to manually set the machine to record next week, and that cancelled "Backstrom", so I had to manually set it to record that, which cancelled "Big Bang Theory". And I went to the other machine and told it to record "Big Bang Theory", which cancelled "Reign". Any series where I'm likely to need to rewind I'd rather watch in the room where I'm sitting beside the remote. In the other room, I have no place to put it. I know it doesn't make sense.
And all this recording two shows at once ends for me soon, I think. If cable is digital, one of my machines will record only one show at a time. That may also be true for the other, though I don't even know for sure it will work at all. But by June 7, I have to be upgraded, as I had to be in June 2009. That's why I bought the second machine, but I was only looking for another one that didn't require Internet access. I tried a newer machine but they couldn't guarantee it would work with the Internet I have.

Okay, what happened? It has been a while.
First, Adelaide on "Whose Line". She wears such elegant clothes on this show and yet she showed up in torn jeans. But she was still really pretty.
Ryan, pointing out that the carpet and the drapes matched, showed Adelaide his George W (another way of saying what he said). You should have seen the look on her face. I can't believe that got past the censors. Now he was only pretending, so his pants were still on under whatever he lifted up.
She also did a sketch where Ryan couldn't use his hands and Colin made a mess.

And I forgot the show that this thread is actually about.
It's still funny to watch people criticize or feel sorry for Greer and yet she is a successful business woman in an era when women were pretty much worthless.
I'm confused. The husband of Elizabeth I is considered a king, but the husband of Elizabeth II is a prince.
I knew I had never heard of Elizabeth being married, so even though this part of the story is probably fiction, what happened afterward would tend to explain it. And that was funny how they put a sword between them in bed so that THEY wouldn't do the deed.
I guess it's true. Mary and Francis are really no longer together.
