Two more episodes. My goal was to watch a fourth episode that I had recorded with an antenna. There were two more besides that one. And they had to be recorded with an antenna because I chose to read newspapers and the only way was to not record this show from cable.
But something happened with the third episode. I had not seen some of the events shown when they told us what happened "previously". So I waited until yesterday afternoon hoping that one of the episodes I recorded with an antenna was the missing one. It was the same one I had started to watch the night before. So I guess I have to watch an episode online this week. This may be the last week I can watch it free.
Charles has actually found peace. He is living with a normal family which has a strong faith and a work ethic which he is willing to follow as well. A Protestant faith, which makes him a heathen, but faith. Catherine had to lie but she was found out. Somehow they got Charles to come back by letting his girlfriend from that family come with him. But she's not like them. Knowing the king can do whatever he wants, she wants to take advantage.
Mary has found out her fiancé is being unfaithful. She's willing to live with it but she won't be happy. Meanwhile, Claude is willing to live with being with her true love in secret and spending time with her husband only to produce an heir and for appearances. The husband was almost killed and I seriously thought Claude's man would let him die.
It was so sweet how they treated Agatha like a queen. That was the best part of the episode where that happened. She knew how sick she was. But she wanted more than anyone else to be like a queen. Elizabeth was so nice to her.

Yesterday was a nightmare. I found the episode easily and there was only one commercial once I finally corrected my mistake (I thought I had clicked on the right episode, but the wrong one just hadn't come up while I was trying to click. Later I heard the audio of a commercial as I tried to watch, even though the audio of what I was watching was also on. I finally found the pause button and that solved the problem. No commercials for the longest time, and then after all the commercials were over, the computer quit on me. There were a half-dozen ways for the computer to shut down, and nearly all happened multiple times. Although it was easy to resume from where I left off, it was always before the commercial break. More commercials. More shutting down the computer. Finally, I saw where I could click beyond the commercial break. There was no way to start in the middle the last time I tried. The breaks are all marked. It worked! And the computer shut down several times before the episode ended. Could have been worse. I tried watching "Roy's Folks". The same video kept stopping over and over and over and I don't know how I finally got it to play all the way through. It kept stopping but this time it would restart every time.
So what happened in the episode? There were some pleasant scenes but a lot of unpleasantness. It was funny to watch Mary being taken away in a boat and we did get to see her take at least some of her clothes off. For someone whose family has such strong values, Nicole behaves like a vixen and she will get what she wants. Charles doesn't want to pretend to be Catholic but he may have to. Elizabeth was being so hard on one of her explorers, one I had never heard of but he was real. Mary finally realizes who her mystery watchman is, and she knows she can't marry this man. After the way they have treated each other, it was so nice to see Catherine and Mary get along so well. I don't even remember all that went wrong with the wedding guests but I think it had something to do with the land Mary was trying to get.

Two more over the weekend. And one of those I had to sacrifice by watching what I recorded with an antenna. I'm not sure I'm willing to go through the nightmare that I have to go through just to see the few minutes that got lost to interference. The good news is that most of the time the interference didn't last long enough for me to lose anything important.
So Mary got married to Lord Darnley despite all the potential problems. More humor than there usually is, which is good. Or am I remembering an older episode?
Greer's baby doesn't look like her, so she has to claim the baby is adopted. Mary and Greer together always makes me happy.
Elizabeth went in the tub and it turns out a man was in there.
Charles is acting more like a king and people are happy. That was a beautiful church where hostages were taken.
I'm confused about Henry. Charles is too young to be king, and Henry is his YOUNGER brother. He looks older than Charles.

I saw what I missed because of interference. I was seeing the same commercials over and over, but I don't recall having any other problems with the video. I know I had some on one of the computers I used but I can't remember what time of day I watched.
Now I understand. James asked Mary to make it look like he was being ostracized. I didn't understand why she was doing that, but it was too make Mary look better.

One more episode. In the previously I saw James ask Mary to banish him.
There was so much interference I'll have to watch online again, and this time there are at least five scenes I need to see again, and they won't be as easy to find. But knowing exactly what was said is important. I found out the reason for the interference and I can't believe it took me this long. What was I doing on the Charlotte CW station when the Greensboro station has a better signal? I intentionally turned that antenna toward Greensboro because I can pick up the Charlotte stations on cable.
The real King Charles was not succeeded by his brother for 14 years, though they made Francis' reign much longer than it really was. So they can't have Henry become king, even though he seems more like a king than his brother who doesn't even want the job.
I'm lost. Supposedly Mary has done something that will force Elizabeth to get married, and Mary has somehow prevented people from killing her. That won't last since we have been promised the season will end with Mary's death--even though the real Mary didn't die for many years.
Also, Mary was finally nice to her husband but it just took minutes for her to tell him she didn't want anything to do with him. And he won't stand for having no rights. That is his baby she's carrying.

What a nightmare. I don't know why it has to be so difficult to watch videos at a library. This time, on the first computer, there was audio but no video. I gave up and went to another computer later in the day. The problem was also there. Then I couldn't even get audio. Someone clicked to make Flash work because I kept getting a message that it was outdated. I don't know how but I eventually got the audio AND video to work. And of course every time I advanced through the episode I had to watch a bunch of commercials. I probably saw more commercials than actual content. I still didn't see everything I missed because I didn't make notes on what I needed to see. I just figured I'd remember. But every random place I stopped except one everything was familiar. Maybe, just maybe, I saw something I didn't see the first time around.

My favorite part of the next episode was Mary's attempting to smile when she didn't want to.
I've looked up the real details of her marriage and there certainly is a lot of real-life material that can add a lot of drama to this series. With the few episodes they've got left, I don't think they're going to reach the full potential. And they did promise Mary would die in the finale. I can't picture her doing what got her killed in real life. But even her TV husband is so evil. He was in real life, too.
I was pleased Elizabeth couldn't go through with killing (spoiler).
The conflict between Henry and Charles is getting interesting. Something that could have been confusing is that Mary's husband was also named Henry. They changed it for the series.

Last night was the series finale and we have been told Mary would die.
I have three more episodes to watch first.
And as I investigated whether I had the "New Girl" episode that Trump pre-empted most of when it was repeated, I discovered why I might have been missing an episode. The oldest TiVo had one of the episodes. I don't remember whether that was the one I had to watch online, but I'll watch enough of it to see if there's anything I missed. It might also have been an episode I missed parts of because the signal wasn't good.

Two more full episodes watched.
I looked it up and some of the terrible events really did happen and some of them didn't. And there's no shortage of drama to include.
Apparently whatever kept Mary from being killed in real life is not going to happen in this version, since she has to die in the finale.
I haven't checked on the episode on my oldest TiVo to see if there might have been something I missed.

It was beginning to look like Mary would die in childbirth, but that didn't really happen. Still, they continue to plot against her, and while she didn't die from similar circumstances in real life, they decided it would happen in this version.
I was really glad Greer was there for Mary.
I can't believe Elizabeth's trusted servant committed the murder. But she's being forced to. And look who made her do it. Her family had a nice house. For some reason they didn't show it, but they were kidnapped.
And now Spain might go to war over whether Charles or Henry is king. And Nicole has to choose one but may not get to choose Henry even if he is king.
One more episode and it's all over.

I can't do it. It will all be over. And I have to watch Mary die.
Speaking of which, four Marys and their parents were in a "Jeopardy" category. "Who is Mary Queen of Scots?" was the correct response to the fourth clue. Someone said, "Let's finish off Mary." How could they have said that?
The fifth Mary was created by an author, not her parents.

Oh, what a relief. I was afraid there might be spoilers because I'm not ready to watch the finale.
I need someone else to comment so as you watch, make sure to come here.
I read Mary will be on "Once Upon a Time". I'm happy to hear that even if it won't be the same type of show.

She is a spoiled rich girl. Now Mary didn't act spoiled. This girl is more like Claude. And she doesn't have an accent. When she is successful.

A "Jeopardy" clue said Francis built a new palace. I don't think that was ever mentioned. I know this series played fast and loose with history but they could have mentioned it at least.

It didn't seem like the end. And I wondered how they would execute Mary since in real life it happened after many years. Well, there was a solution to that. They skipped 21 years.
I looked at her real biography. Some of those events really happened. And some didn't.
I was so happy when King James, the one for whom the Bible is named, was found safe. But I knew Mary wasn't going to be happy for long. And she made a demand, saying "I am your Queen!" But people had a hard time with her being Queen.
I thought when they mentioned the Spanish Armada, we were going to see the famous battle. Apparently not.
I didn't care for what Catherine did at all, and I could have done without the witch or whatever she was. Her sons were really having problems.
