Yeah, yeah, I know season 9 just ended a couple of days ago, but there's already terrific news about season 10 so.....let's go!

The King of Hell is here to stay. According to THR, Mark Sheppard, who plays the demon Crowley on Supernatural, has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming 10th season.

Predictions: What Will Happen to Dean in Season 10?>>

Sheppard will join Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins in the main cast. Despite running for 10 seasons, Supernatural is very sparse with these promotions. Besides those four, Lauren Cohan and Katie Cassidy in season 3 are the only other actors credited as series regulars.

The news isn't that surprising given the big twist that ended Supernatural season 9. Dean died and, as his body laid in the Men of Letters HQ, Crowley arrived to reveal that he knew more than he let on. In the last shot, Dean came back from the dead, but as a demon.

Since Crowley is the King of Hell and has been "bromancing" with Dean for most of this season, it makes sense that he will continue to play a big part in the life of Demon Dean.

Being a series regular doesn't mean Sheppard will necessarily appear in every episode, but it probably means more than normal. He has appeared as Crowley in nine episodes for each of the past two seasons. He first popped up in the middle of season 5 and has been a steadily recurring character ever since. In fact, other than Ackles, Padalecki, Collins and Jim Beaver as Bobby, Sheppard has appeared in far more episodes than anyone else on Supernatural.

Supernatural season 10 begins this fall, Tuesdays at 9pm, on the CW.

We have news about S10 as the CW has announced premiere dates today.

SPN S10 officially starts back on Oct. 7, 2014 and is being paired with the Flash.
Note- On Oct. 6, 2014 there will be an hour long retrospective about S10, I don't think it is signifying the final season, maybe just celebrating the fact that it reached 10 seasons.

Hi November! Wow...CW is going to run a retrospective of the last 9 years of Supernatural? That should be a real treat. I wonder if we'll get some good commentary from the actors and some of the writers/producers.
It's amazing what will happen when you have a president of the network that LOVES the show!!

I like the Jensen directed episodes, so I am glad to hear that he will be doing another one. I think he taught Misha a lot about directing and I wish Misha was getting to do another episode also.

So, I just saw a quick snippet @ SpoilerTV.com (couldn't get in, there's some problem)a that states, in season 10, we're going to get a new "recurring female role." AGAIN? Why do they keep doing this? Unless it's Sheriff Jody, we don't need another silly female character in the mix. I still want them to bring back Frank.....who just disappeared after several really good appearances as a replacement for Bobby.

I read somewhere, can't remember where.....that filming on Supernatural -- season 10 atarts this coming Friday, July 11. And they'll start with 10.3. That's right, they're starting with the episode Jensen is directing.

Is is just me or can anyone else hardly wait to start seeing some BTS photos and some whispers of upcoming episodes.

I know I am curious about the plot and want to see my boys again. I think it is funny when the producer posts a tweet that he will give us a page of a script and the page he posts has only the name of the writer and director.

Don't tell Misha that another angel has temporarily taken 1st place in my heart.

I know, I read that.....again....somewhere....a "recurring" female character. Please let it be Jody Miller. I'm used to her and she provides some older female support. No worries about whether or not she'll fall in love with one or other of the boys.

I’m curious to know about the Demon Dean personality through the first half of Supernatural Season 10. —Levana Indeed, Dean has a bit of the devil in him — as will be evidenced by an intense fling he has in the second episode back, with a tough but sympathetic roadhouse cocktail waitress named Ann Marie.

Since Dean has always enjoyed sex and we have seen "energetic" sex scenes with him before I wonder what intense means.
