I believe the countdown is now: 27 days until season 10!

That does not seem so far away now. It will probably take me until October to view all of those shows that are premiering on September 22. Is that a "magic" date or something?

I'm lovin' Deanmon. "Too sexy" karaoke. What I really think is that Dean is finally taking a break from guilt and being emotionally beat up for doing what he thinks is right. As a Deanmon, he can fight, kill, torture, and be promiscuous without worrying about the gray areas. Crowley certainly seems happy to have Dean as a sidekick. I have always liked the rapport between those two because they can both toss insults at each other equally and are quite amusing. I think I will enjoy seeing Deanmon in action, but I do not expect that to last long. How Dean will feel when he has to live with everything he does will be interesting. Sam must have learned somehow that Crowley has Dean since he is questioning a demon about him.

Anti, I was thinking the same thing about "human" Dean's ability to cope with what he does as Deanmon."
I do love the way Crowley and Dean play off of each other: snark for snark. I wonder if it's true that Crowley finds he can't control Dean?
And I hope they don't cure him too soon and NOT in a cheesey way.

That looks scary and makes me worried for Sam and Cas, things don't look good for either one of them.
But the bigger question is what happens to Dean after he gets cured , how will he feel and make some kind of peace with what he does as a Demon? Dean hold everyone's guilt and his own inside, how will he deal with that? Demon Dean looks carefree and brutal and I can see why he will be hard for Crowley to control, human Dean was very strong minded, and I don't see Demon Dean being any less strong minded.

I need to listen more carefully because I am missing the part where Dean is hard for Crowley to control. Makes sense but I missed that information.

I think I will watch this video everyday until Supernatural returns. It's pretty good.

I think the part of Crowley needing help with Dean was from an interview in July or Aug. maybe from Comic Con?

Right Nov. Anti, that's where we heard it. From some panel at Comic Con and not in the season 10 promo. Your hearing is okay!

Thanks, ladies...not that I minded watching it several times. I am assuming the "roadkill" Crowley was sneering at is Castiel. I wonder if Dean hurt Castiel because those trailers are often misleading. Dean has a hair cut similar to some of his younger episodes and it actually makes him look younger.

Anti, I LOVE that Dean has longer hair. I never cared for his "buzz cut." I hope it stays long during the season!

I don't like the short, short hair either, I wish he would keep it a little longer.
I read a comment last year about his short hair and someone wondered if he was going into the Marines LOL

I have been wondering, when Dean was in bed with the woman, what the heck did he do and then said "Oops!" in an insincere manner? She looked rather incredulous. Do demons pass gas?

Same here, Anti. Also, how, as a demon, can Dean still have that tattoo on his chest? Is it October yet? I believe we're at 17 days until season 10 starts, 16 until the retrospective. I had to come back and add to my earlier reply. Was just over on The Winchester Family Business site and there's a thread called something like....ITunes sneak peek at season 10. In it we see Crowley showing up while Dean's in bed with the girl so maybe that's why he says "oops" to her. Take a look and see what you think. There'a a "jerk.....bitch" moment, too.

Hi SoCal About your question about the tattoo and Dean as a demon this is what I heard in the promo. Crowley says that the only demon inside of Dean is himself, that it is his own soul that has been corrupted. Not sure that I believe all of that but that is what I heard.
Put in spoiler text to not spoil it for people avoiding spoilers. I am ok with spoilers for now, but towards the end of the season I will start avoiding them again.

Hi NC!! Gosh, you're right. I do remember hearing Crowley say that in one of the season 10 promos. That must be why Demon!Dean can still have his tattoo. Very interesting. I can hardly wait for Oct 6-7! How about you?

I loved it...loved it...loved it! I agree that Crowley is the "oops!" I appreciate the insight given to what's ahead for us throughout the season. I like the way they describe the meta episodes - drive the fans crazy with happiness or shoot themselves in the foot. I think Castiel will be tugging at our heart strings this season. So will Sam, but Dean is outrageous.

Agreed Anti.....it was a terrific set up to season 10. Wow, Deanmon actually growls at someone! I wonder if it's Sam? Yikes. So Crowley is trying to keep him "in shape" for the things he has planned....things that he hasn't told Deanmon about yet! I get the feeling that won't work out well for Crowley. And of course, I wondering how Sam captures Deanmon and gets him into the MOL bunker? 15 more days until we begin to find out!!

Okay, so I only just saw the previews for season 10 today, and I haven't read any of the other posts because I don't want to be any more spoiled than that, but there are two things I want to share: 1) I HATE the name Deanmon, I'm never calling him that, and 2) it may be petty, but I'm not liking the new 'do.

The CW has issued a press release about episode 10.02.
SUPERNATURAL - October 14 9:00-10:00 - “Reichenbach” CROWLEY TELLS DEAN THE MARK NEEDS TO BE FED — Crowley (Mark Sheppard) notices Dean (Jensen Ackles) is becoming more and more aggressive. Dean tells him that’s the side effect of being a demon, but Crowley knows it’s something more - the Mark of Cain needs to be fed. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is captured by Cole (guest star Travis Aaron Wade), an angry man who blames Dean for his father’s death years ago and wants revenge. Cole tortures Sam, hoping he’ll tell him where Dean is hiding. Hannah (guest star Erica Carroll) sees how weak Castiel (Misha Collins) is becoming as his grace continues to fade, so she makes a bold choice and asks Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) for help. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (#1003).
So the MOC continues to effect Dean. Cole's agenda is revealed. Metatron returns. I wonder what the Mark needing to be fed means. Does it mean Crowley feels that he is in danger because Dean has to kill? Who is Cole's dad and why did Dean kill him? What does Hannah think Metatron can do for Cas? It sounds like another interesting episode.

Hello everyone! I am starting to get a little excited for the new season, but I still have worries about all 3 of the guys, I don't worry about Crowley at least not at this point, maybe towards the series finale things may happen, but for now he is here to stay. Anti-Yes, I agree, Cas's situation is going to be hard and difficult to accept and I am wondering how far they are going to take this path. Just once can we have the 3 guys happy and together, just for a little bit before the next big bad comes around? PLEASE, I am not asking for much just a couple of hours, that's all. SoCal- I would think that the MOC would continue to affect Dean, whether or not he is a demon doesn't mean that the mark will leave. I really wish Dean would have taken the time to find out a few things about the Mark, like how to get rid of it, and what the pitfalls were from taking it on?

Hi I am excited and I keep checking the date even though it is marked on my calendar. I am glad we will see the Supernatural special before that. I have not done any research so it is fortunate that SoCal and November are keeping me informed. We know that Crowley was very concerned for Dean to understand that he never lied to him about the Mark and that he did not know exactly what would happen. Crowley is usually well informed, but I believe him when he says he did not know everything about the Mark. November, I agree that "feeding" probably means blood and most likely death. I know the Winchesters did a lot of killing, but most of them were supernatural beings. (Did you notice I did not say "monsters"?) If Cole thinks Dean is responsible for his father's death, perhaps he is angry that Dean did not save his father or maybe got his father involved in a hunt or something. Non-hunters who help the Winchesters have a short life expectancy. Because Cole is so gorgeous, he gets a pass even if he is wrong. US Marine-turned-thespian Travis Aaron Wade was born in Los Angeles, California. His family moved moved to Glendora, CA in the late seventies where Travis was raised an eventually attended Charter Oak High School in Covina. There Travis excelled in sports, including HS Football where he was Captain of the Varsity Football team his senior year. He is 37.

Hi NC and Anti! Well, Crowley may not THINK he lies, but leaving out vital information is a lie by omission. And I think Crowley does that all the time. NC, I believe I read somewhere that Dean will contimue to be affected by the MOC even after he's no longer a demon. Wonder if he'll get rid of it during season 10. Yup Anti, I think "feeding" the MOC means killing. How many days left until the season begins?
