Have you considered the show I mentioned to you about since you are all caught up on all of your shows?

I have a new theory about the murders from the last new episode. The best friend of Amy on "Big Bang Theory". See, when the actress was "Blossom", her best friend was named Six after her parents drasnk a six-pack nine months before she was born.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Blossom's best friend didn't commit the murders. I think they solved that case but I've already forgotten who do it.
I like the opening credits better when they do the silver ball. Apparently a lot of people do or they wouldn't have brought that back.
But ratings are down and I blame Kitty.

Yes and I noticed the promos focus on Sherlock and Joan. They do not even give us a glimpse of Kitty. If Kitty was popular, I think they would also show her in the promos.

Jeff, I am sure you are right that Kitty will be in the episodes. A lot of shows add characters and I like most of the new characters. For example, when Castiel and others were added to Supernatural in the 4th and later seasons, they became some of my favorites. The same thing has happened on Person of Interest. The difference with Kitty is that she seems so unnecessary and I never look forward to seeing her.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using proboards It does look like an episode done the way I want it done. I chose "Parenthood" last night because I was so worried about Zeek. Maybe I'll have time tonight.

I enjoyed the episode. Finally, they have returned to the format that made me love the show. Sherlock usurped a case that a nurse wanted Joan to work on. Of course, that required Sherlock and Joan to work the case together. Also, Sherlock confided to Joan that after two years of sobriety, he wondered if that is all there is to his life. I was glad to see them bonding the way they used to, but it was also pleasant to see his sponsor again. The task he gave Sherlock did give Sherlock’s brain something to ponder.
The funniest scene was when Sherlock awakened Joan by playing reveille.
Sherlock was brilliant as usual. He quickly determined where the missing nurse would be located. Then he concluded there was a connection between the nurse and a murder victim. Joan’s medical knowledge and Sherlock’s wealth of information played well together and led them to the motive and perpetrator.

I would enjoy the show more if there was more action. Sherlock could provide the clues and Det. Bell, etc., could provide the action. During the first season, they showed us that Sherlock is skilled in defense tactics. I do not know why they bothered to do that if we are not going to see him perform.

I liked seeing Sherlock wake up Watson too. It's a shame the episode wasn't as funny as the commercial made it look, and there was more Kitty than I would have liked, but it was still a good episode.

No time yet, but I was reading that someone was wondering what Kitty was doing on the show as he praised Benedict Cumberbatch and made a point that saying good things about that show wasn't the same as saying this one wasn't good.

Yes, I watched it. It was pretty interesting. I noticed that Sherlock seemed a little unsettled when Joan said she was taking a job with an insurance agency. Then, Joan seemed a little hurt when Sherlock said he was making Kitty his partner. Neither one wants to admit they are hurt, but I think they are.
No one upstaged Sherlock. His olfactory senses detected the most important clues. Recognizing the food for a very specific plant was impressive, recognizing the rarest orchid was outstanding and sniffing out the cause of death of the elderly couple was vintage Sherlock.
The final scene indicated that there will be a problem involving Kitty's worst nightmare...the villain who harmed her. But Kitty did a good job tracking down the wayward daughter.

Yes I have seen it too, And I agree with you there about Sherlock and Joan and the both seem hurt by it. What killed the elderly couple? I can't remember, was it the young lady? Yes I agree about both things about Kitty.

I'm hoping the person from Kitty's past solves our Kitty problem, but that's not the way TV series generally work. I was really hoping Sherlock would say he was ready to let Kitty go out on her own, which she isn't ready to do.
I'm fine with Watson having another job as long as they still work together, and I was pleased at how Sherlock, so insensitive to others' feelings and selfish, gave her so much praise.
Watson being awakened was once again the funniest thing this week.
Sherlock said he was rolling on the floor laughing on the inside (or something like that) but couldn't show it while on the job. This reminds me of Captain Holt of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", who doesn't show emotions, period. He says stuff like that all the time and yet he almost always keeps a straight face.

What killed the elderly couple? I can't remember, was it the young lady? Yes. She was the artist's lover and she went into a jealous rage when she learned there were others sharing his bed. The smoke from the fire accidentally killed the elderly couple when it traveled through the vents.
