It was funny hearing Sherlock's pronunciation of zebra while everyone else said it the American way.
Bell and Sherlock together isn't quite what I was hoping for.
And Watson woke Sherlock up for a change! She never smiles around Sherlock but she did this time.

I feel the problem with Sherlock and Bell working together is that Sherlock treated Bell as if he is not a trained detective. There is a difference between teaching and belittling, but Sherlock did not appear to realize that.

I'd just rather have Sherlock and Watson, and Bell and Gregson.

I have heard many times that some people will do anything for money, and the villain in this episode took that theory to an extreme level. She might have gotten away with it if Sherlock was not a suspicious and outstanding investigator.
When the woman faked an attempt on her life, I thought she did it to avoid coming under suspicion for the two previous murders. But she was cleverer than that. She did it to draw media attention so that she could make statements that forced the insurance carrier to settle the claims quickly.
Sherlock does look out for Joan and it was a generous gesture to buy her apartment so that she would have options. When I heard Joan nailing shut the door to the basement, I thought she was trapping Sherlock to make him stay down there for a while. Fortunately, she had a logical reason.
Please jog my memory - has Joan always been this serious?

Thanks. I guess Sherlock was the one who made me laugh - because of things he did to Joan.

I didn't even know Sherlock had a basement. But I'm glad Watson can live there now.
It was good to see them working together again.

I knew they had other doors other than the front door inside Sherlocks home I just didn't know what it led to.

I am glad too, but I did tune in because I thought it was coming on. Instead, I watched the season finale of "How to Get Away With Murder". I would have missed that if I was not looking for "Elementary".

Did not record because the HD channels were on the blink. Keeps happening when there is a storm. On-Demand has not made it available yet. Oh well...

And I haven't had time yet but I'd better find it because shows are about to get deleted.
No, I'm staying on the computer as long as I normally do. I have a lot of stuff with no deadline but I need to get it done. Some of it is newspaper articles I copied which I don't want to see in the real newspapers because i just don't have time when I go to the library.

Has Demand made it available for you to see now yet Anti? No. I was able to watch "Scandal" on-line so I am going to see if 'Elementary' is available too.

It doesn't have to be in HD for you to watch it. Watson was in the basement listening to a woman play the guitar and to a recording of a commercial with similar music. She wanted to sue. And Sherlock was upstairs making noise with one of his wild theories. But I don't think Sherlock would have been interested in Watson's case. Sherlock was a suspect in a murder that happened when he was on drugs and his former dealer had evidence that could have either gotten him convicted or freed him.

I have had the chance to watch it and it was a good episode. I agree that "For All You Know" was a good episode. Sherlock suffered doubt about what he might have done during the time of his active addiction. I hope he appreciates the Captain's and Watson's faith in his innocence and their unwavering support. I enjoy Sherlock and Joan working together on cases along with the Captain and Det. Bell. Sherlock's excellent powers of observation and his memory helped to lead them to the murderer. I recognize the guy who was his drug dealer and he played the role very well.

It doesn't have to be in HD for you to watch it. When HD is not working, the recording does not switch to a non-HD channel. It will either record a black screen or leave a message that the episode did not record. If I realize there is a problem, I need to manually cancel the set-up for the HD channel, then tune in the non-HD channel to record it. During prime time, there are multiple recordings being made and it gets complicated.
