That was amazing and I'm glad I didn't know. They've never left out details like that and gone back to fill them in, have they?
That made it one of the most amazing episodes ever. I too was not pleased they had to give in and help kill that man. Roz had unconditional faith in her team, which surprised me. Who wouldn't give in under those circumstances?

No, they have not omitted details like that before and they certainly fooled me. I thought Roz had no choice but to let her team protect themselves, but it is better that she had faith they would come up with a solution.

Arrivals and Departures (11-23-15)
When Team Scorpion and Walter's parents visit Megan in the hospital as her health deteriorates, they are quarantined after a deadly fungus outbreak threatens to infect everyone.
I absolutely loved this episode because Scorpion is doing what I love seeing them do – saving people. Deadly spores were spreading quickly and the team members were in separate parts of the hospital. The drama was very intense because so many issues arose simultaneously.
Walter met his estranged parents at the airport and the meeting was awkward. The situation did not get better when they arrived at the hospital to visit Megan. The father was very cold to Sylvester also.
The hospital was locked down by the CDC.
Happy and Toby were trapped in the kitchen section and a woman went into labor. Toby realized that the baby would die very quickly from the spores.
Sylvester and Walter were with Megan, but Walter left to help with the crisis. His father was displeased about him leaving.
Walter warned the CDC to stop using the fungicide they had because it would make the situation worse. They did not listen and suddenly they keeled over and probably died quickly.
The drama continued, but we saw some sweet moments. Sylvester presented Megan with a representation of the stars in the sky because she had told him she was sad that she would never see stars again. That was very loving of him.
Another nice moment was when Walter’s father volunteered to help seal the room where the CDC people died. Then after viewing a video Megan left for him, Walter had a change of heart and joined his family for conversation. He was squeezing Paige’s hand while he talked.

That's who she was on "Frasier", but you seem to know that. I recorded this with an antenna, but I'm giving priority to the shows I recorded from cable with the newest TiVo, since most of the shows I can only record using cable.

When I visited IMDb, one reviewer was very harsh about the episode not using correct science. I do not care about that because I enjoyed what the story was about. I did not want that negative review to be the only one there so I did take time to also post a review, a positive one of course.

It has an exclamation point and I considered watching last night, but that would have meant going to bed at midnight since I waited so late. It taped on the TiVo with an antenna, and it had an exclamation point there, but not enough shows have recorded to make this a problem. I saved it and will watch soon. If it's still on the newer TiVo tonight I'll do a marathon.

But for once I would agree with those who say the science is suspect. I have a hard time believing they got all the science right in this one. Walter showed no emotion when Megan died and I'm curious why that was. It's like he was surprised about how it felt or how it happened. I really wanted Megan to survive. Walter's father was so mean but he eventually realized how important his son's work was and was even able to come up with a helpful plan, which he could carry out.

I thought there hadn't been a new one, but I remember now that there was.
They went to college. Surely there, they won't be in as much danger.
No, if that computer heats up by a tenth of a degree, we all blow up. If that angle isn't right, we all blow up.
The sorority song was too corny for me and I agreed with Happy about pretty much everything.
Paige surprised me saying if Walter could act he didn't need her. No, I think he still does. The rest of them do.
I liked Paige's outfit.

Sylvester is usually the one who is nervous so I thought they gave him a very dangerous task that close to the supercomputer. It was an exciting episode.

‘Dam Breakthrough’
There was non-stop danger and excitement in this one. The team also had to contend with Walter’s emotional issue. I really enjoyed this episode because it had humor and emotion, all members of the team helped, including Paige and Ralph, and they saved people. The only downside for me is that Paige should not try to counsel Walter when he is in the middle of a crisis.
Problems:
Pine tree fell and crushed a wall at Mt. Augustine power station causing computer outage and leaking roof. Crack in the dam face – Toby: I haven’t seen a crack that terrifying since my proctology rotation. Eventual dam overflow. Cannot evacuate town of 100,000 people because flash flood washed out the only roads in or out of the town. Cable broke before Cabe could climb back up the dam wall. An output pipe blockage. Rotor got stuck, and then fell into the water. 2 of 3 turbines went off line and could not drain the water which would cause the town to be flooded.
Solutions, because Team Scorpion was up to the challenge.
The team used inflatable things from a car lot to cover the roof and Walter fixed the computer problem.
Walter prepared ammonium nitrate mixture and Cabe rappelled down the dam wall to seal the cracks. When the cable snapped before he could be pulled up the wall, he created steps using the mixture he had left over. I had to laugh when Sylvester screamed and turned away because he could not watch Cabe plummet down the wall.
When the output pipe became blocked, Toby said he had to perform a dam colonoscopy. Happy told them how to create a rotor that would clear the pipe. When Happy was dragged into the water, Toby was overwrought and wanted to jump in to save her, but that would not have worked. Walter grabbed some plastic netting and Sylvester dragged some sandbags to block the area and retrieve Happy. That was scary.
After all of that, they still could not relax because the town was in danger of being flooded when the turbines went off line. Happy and Toby worked together to create a bomb and divert the bomb away from the town. Whew!
Lighter moments: Toby caused Cabe’s SUV to be dented and then scratched. Happy and Toby kissed. Walter finally broke down and admitted he was grieving over his sister’s death. Paige and Walter held hands again. Cabe, Toby and Happy had a silly moment when they played with the helium.

I recorded this with an antenna, but given what happened when I checked to see how good the recording was of "Supergirl" I will probably go ahead and watch the recording that was made using cable. However, the beginning looked good.

I watched the recording from cable.
Very exciting, and I guess it's time for Walter to finally grieve.
Ralph was actually able to help!
If there are people doubting the science on this show, I think that tsumani bomb is the proof we're getting into science fiction here.

“Kyle” is the name of the son of one of the soldiers.
I enjoyed the episode even though they were in very stressful situations. I have refused to go outside because the temperature is in the teens so I can imagine how they felt in freezing temperatures and a blizzard. It seems like they constantly have to choose between completing the mission and saving their friends. Tough choices.
When Walter and Gabe were dragging the equipment, I thought Gabe was going to have a heart attack because of the way Walter was explaining why he should stop.
I like it when Ralph and his mom do something to help the mission.

I have known for a long time about two people naked in a sleeping bag being a way to keep warm in that type situation so I suspected they would have Toby and Happy do that.
I couldn't believe they could see the sun when it was snowing like that.
I was pleased to see Ralph being so helpful. And he knew Team Scorpion could get the job done.
Sylvester always seems to get left behind these days, and I imagine he's glad about that. But he is essential working from the other end. Paige was quite helpful too.
I was glad Happy's father showed up.

Chuck from "Chuck" was on "Telenovela" and I didn't even recognize him. The fact is Walter looks more like Chuck to me and I keep wanting to call him Chuck.

I forgot to mention I don't understand how they could see the sun in a blizzard, if it was really so bad they were in whiteout conditions.
Yet another exciting episode and this time Sylvester's in the middle of the excitement and Toby gets left behind. And once again Ralph shows how valuable he is. The TiVo episode summary said Sylvester's father was a general but we saw he was a colonel. Anyway, we see why he and Sylvester didn't get along, but Sylvester went on to impress him.

I enjoyed this episode too. I did wonder how Sylvester and his father were going to become unstuck from the mortar, but Sly is a genius and his father has accurate aim. Walter finally learned that barking orders at his team is not effective and he passed that information onto the Colonel.
The most unbelievable thing to me is that the President was going to leave in the middle of a party for a group of stupid Americans that he cannot trust just to have an intimate moment with his lady. Really?
Happy finally admitted she is falling for Toby.

Regarding last week, my TiVo and all the newspaper listings so far have said Sylvester's father was a general and he was a colonel.
Now this week. That was quite an episode. Walter did okay for Walter on his date. But none of it mattered once his date was hooked up to a bomb. She handled herself really well and was even funny.
Gabe looks old and they talk like he's old but he can really handle himself in a fight.
That was an entertaining explosion and I'm so glad Walter came up with how to stop it from killing her. Because the minute Merrick hit the ground, when I saw how relieved the others were, I wondered what was going to happen if the detonator wasn't removed when the rocket lifted off.

2.15 Da Bomb (1-25-16) The members of Team Scorpion are asked to help NASA with a top secret rocket launch, but they must sabotage their own mission when Walter’s date finds a bomb strapped to her chest.
I enjoyed the episode and did not get nervous at all. I guessed who the bomber was within 15 minutes, but that did not detract from the story. Walter’s date was a disaster and she said some really mean things to him. Of course, she was in an extremely stressful situation and she did smooth it over as well as she could. Walter’s fear of being alone is strange because it is obvious that Paige accepts him and wants to be with him. Her ex seems out of the picture and when the time is right, she could stop being their social guide and become Walter’s companion.
All of the technical terms they used to sabotage and then correct the missile went in one ear and straight out of the other, but it was fun watching them work. All of the members are excellent with computers, but I think a lot of their missions would fail without Happy’s expertise. I love to see her work under pressure.
The buckle on Cabe’s shoe got stuck in the grate and that was almost a disaster. I thought Happy was going to have to fight the guy, but Cabe got free in time.
It was nice that Walter was not alone at the end and Paige and Ralph were going to help him with a project.

Paige still has to be their social guide. These people aren't making much progress.
I notice she tries to help wherever she can. I guess they don't need geniuses for everything.

Now that was an episode!
Ralph did a great job. He's a valuable member of the team.
Anyone recognize magician Penn Jillette?
Paige actually knew she was risking her life to save that man. But she has that ability to deal with people.
I liked how Toby said he was Zack and Cabe was Belding. Did he say Paige was Kelly and Sylvester was Screech? And what does that make Walter because he sure isn't Slater.

2.17 Adaptation (2-22-16) Team Scorpion must stop an influx of drugs that are being smuggled into the country via drones; an ultimatum is issued.

I enjoyed Scorpion. Walter can be autocratic at times and his handling of the budding romance was a failure. I like the way Happy and Toby handled the situation at the end.
The team worked very quickly to create a device that would knock drug-carrying drones from the sky. Unfortunately, they did not have enough Intel to plan for what happened during their first attempt. The episode title describes what the drug smugglers do every time law enforcement finds a way to stop them. I do not think Walter has a death wish, but I do think he acts like a daredevil. When he ran and grabbed the drone while the smugglers were shooting at them, I believe his excuse would be that he calculated the risk and was correct as usual.
Leaving Toby behind was not one of Walter’s better decisions and it almost cost the agent his life, but Toby, Happy and Sylvester handled the medical emergency quite well.

Toby handled himself so well with Happy (when Toby was back at headquarters and Happy was in the field) that I wonder if they still need Paige. Well, of course they do. Walter still has trouble with interactions.
I do agree Toby should not have been left behind. Maybe Sylvester could have done just as much being left behind as he usually is, and he wouldn't have been needed in the field because whatever he did could have been done from headquarters, or by someone who was in the field. I don't even remember the details now.
