Yeah, Negan is a great motivational speaker. He said he is not a monster. If he did not smash people with that bat, burn their face off and throw people in the fire, maybe someone would believe that.

he odd though acting nice though the season giving everybody chances and him cooking in 1 episode was odd.

Negan is very charming and has a sense of humor; sometimes his humor is on the dark side. But when he gets upset, he is very scary.
p.s. I will always love JDM though, no matter what happens.

Well, this episode was better than the last three.....of course, it is the next to the last episode of the season.....so...
Not surprised that Sasha knifed "rapey-dead guy" since that cell would be a small enclosure to fight off a crazed zombie.
Negan surprisingly able to tone down a bit to talk with Sasha. Unfortunately we also know he's bat-sh*t crazy, too.
Found it a bit unrealistic that the Alexandrians could sneak up on the Oceansiders without their knowing a thing.
Their leader is a little crazy, too.
I wonder if they'll show up in the next episode?
What about the Trash group? Where are they and can the Alexandrians count on them.
Gregory should be the first to die next week. First he contemplates killing Maggie and then we find out he's never killed a walker before. I wonder
where he wants his minion to take him. Probably Negan to make a deal.
I wonder how they'll tie up all the loose ends of this season?

It's probably crazy, but I do not want Negan to die. I would punish Negan by locking him and Eugene in a cell so they could drive each other crazy debating philosophy.

I had not thought about them doing that again and I hope they do not kill any of the regular cast members. I know Sasha has a starring, full-time, role in another series and I hope she was able to do that after they finished filming TWD.

I agree. I have a feeling one of the members of Rick's group will die or leave because TWD likes to shock us at the end of the season.

That was exciting.
I loved seeing Abraham again. He still had that blunt way of talking.
Negan liked Sasha very much and made her pancakes with a smiley face design. He was genuinely upset that she died and I wondered if he was going to accuse Eugene. It was a shock when Sasha-walker came out of the coffin.
Those darn trash heap people were untrustworthy. I hope Michonne gets some payback for that beating.
I was so caught up in Negan threatening Carl that I forgot the Kingdom was on the way there. Shiva finally saw some action. She was good at causing panic among Negan’s soldiers.
So, did Dwight ever plan to help Rick? Or did he get trapped into staying with Negan? I do not think Eugene killed anyone, but he cannot come back to the group.

Much better season finale than the last one! I think Dwight was on the level. Daryl found the soldier figurine that said 'didn't know'. That was left by Dwight. Also, the trees were blocking the road just like Dwight said he would do.
Here is another odd thing I noticed. Near the end when the Saviors were escaping, there were 4 of them on top of a truck shooting at the Alexandrians trying to keep them from the gate. When they took off, they left their guns on top of the truck. Why would they do that? Could it be that there are others who feel like Dwight? |

I realize now he had to continue to be close to Negan in order to carry out the plan. I saw the people toss their guns and assumed maybe they ran out of bullets or something, but I bet a lot of Negan's people would like to be free. Maybe if Rick had agreed to lay with Janis, she would have betrayed Negan instead of him. When she made the proposition, Rick's expression made me laugh. I am so glad that Ezekial stayed in character and continued to talk as if he was leading knights. The scenes with Sasha were very moving and I liked the music Eugene gave her. It helped to bolster her resolve. Negan gave Sasha a high compliment in his uniquely crude way. He even called walker-Sasha "honey". I do not hate Eugene, but I do think it was amusing that Rick was willing to detonate explosives with him standing in the hot zone. Then Negan acted surprised about it, but I think he was just being a butt. Negan has courage, but he was certainly afraid of Shiva. |
