Forgot to mention I think it was "Ghosted" where someone used the verb MacGyvered.

Mardi Gras Beads & Chair Some more observations. Mac made a metal detector that helped them to locate the cash the con woman hid inside a dresser. When Dixie and Jack were stuffed in the trunk of a car, people were standing around gawking, but they looked very calm. First time I heard of the Bayou mafia. Being burned alive was on Jack's bucket list and now he can scratch that one off. Matty swoops in and takes charge anytime, anywhere, and in any situation. I'm wondering if the Bayou mafia might be on "NCIS: New Orleans". I couldn't believe Bozer thought he could give Matty advice.

I have watched every episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" and I do not recall them using that term. I love the music on that show and Pride performs sometimes. Yeah, Bozer must be getting very comfortable in his position if he thought he could give Matty advice.

I'm wondering if the Bayou mafia might be on "NCIS: New Orleans". I knew there was a mafia involved in crime on NCIS: New Orleans, but I could not immediately recall the name. In the latest episode, it was called the Dixie mafia.

I was disappointed, but not really, that there was no episode. I would have liked to see one but I liked having more time for other shows and for newspapers.
It was on "Scandal" last week that I heard the term "MacGyvered".

I am going to watch the episode, of course, but the thought of them protecting Murdock is annoying.

Murdoc & Handcuffs
This was a very exciting episode. It started out with Mac doing a terrible job at Charades. When I heard what he was trying to describe, it was very funny.
Murdoc's stories about the things he did as a child and as an adult were awful, but very interesting. They were interesting because he thought someone would relate to them. When he asked Mac about his father, I did wonder for just a moment if either Murdoc or someone devious like him is leaving false clues for Mac to find.
I kept waiting for Murdoc or one of his guys to double-cross Jack and Mac, but it was exciting without that happening. When they were on the train and Murdoc was fumbling with the can of beans, I thought he was going to use it as a weapon. I think the tension of waiting for Murdoc to turn on the guys added to the anticipation. Jack feels about Murdoc the same way I do - can we just shoot him, please? However, Murdoc gets one tiny iota of redemption for saving Mac's life.
Riley's mother is as pretty as she is and I understand Jack's fascination. She seemed nice and level-headed, unlike the last lady he was with.

SpoilerTV reports CBS has ordered an additional episode for the TV series’ second season.
There will be 23 episodes instead of 22, and I am happy about that.

On Friday the man installed my thermostat. As he did, he was cutting wires and reminding me of Mac disarming a bomb.
Mac trying to do charades reminds me of Walter on "Scorpion".
I think that train's horn was a Nathan K5LAR24. Those are very popular. On the main line near where I live, there have been a lot of those, especially on the fast-moving trains.
It's a good thing Mac had a bomb detector, but of course the writers are in control.
I thought it was funny that Jack just wanted to shoot Murdoc. But without his action, the other even meaner guy would have killed Mac.
Won't Mac and Jack get in trouble for stealing the van? Apparently Phoenix has a budget like the LAPD does for Riggs and Murtaugh.

I was thinking if Jack shot Murdoc, maybe they would be safe from the professional killer. But I knew they would not do that. Murdoc gives me the creeps. I wish the big bad villain was someone I could like the way I liked Dr. Wells/Reverse Flash in "The Flash" in the first season.
As far as that stolen vehicle goes, the destruction was not their fault, but I am sure Phoenix can afford to pay for it.

I thought surely I would remember this. Jack said reboots never work, when Riley said "Parent Trap" starred Lindsay Lohan. We know what that was a reference to.

My TiVo recorded an episode in the middle of the night for some strange reason. I had to watch for a few minutes to make sure I had seen it. It started in Syria but after I fast-forwarded Mac and Jack had returned from Cuba. I knew for sure I had seen it when Samantha was introduced.

I've already seen next week's TV listings. I'll have to record both station's broadcasts. The station not in Charlotte usually doesn't get it right and I end up losing part of an episode if I get any of it at all. Yes, two adjacent markets have the ACC tournament on their CBS affiliates. It used to be three but the third station changed to NBC.

There was a funny scene at the beginning of the episode where Jack was stuck in a small opening. Mac told him to pee his pants so his stomach would lose bulk and he could slide through. Mac eventually made a harness and dragged Jack through the opening.
Matty teamed Leanna and Mac as a married couple and Riley posed as Bozer's wife. There was a time that would have made Bozer very happy, but this time, he kept giving Leanna looks that easily exposed his interest in her. Mac caught on right away and Bozer was worried if Matty did that deliberately. Matty did not care about the relationship.
The undercover operation seemed extremely dangerous and it was. They asked questions specifically about the criminal and that made his son suspicious. Before that, they seemed to be having fun and dancing. Mac gave his team something that would keep them from getting drunk, but it gave them a terrible hangover. I thought Mac was going to heroically rush in and somehow rescue Bozer and Leanna, but he calmly walked into the room where mobsters were holding his friends. He did have a plan, but it was still a big risk.
Jack had a lot of nerve to involve Jill in his illegal search of Matty's home and he still cannot remember Jill's name, which is funny. He also boldly asked Riley's father to crack the safe. I guess it was worth it because he found proof that Matty was lying and she did know Mac's father. I can't wait to see how Matty approaches the team about the break-in. She might think Mac was a part of it, but he did not know Jack was going to do that.

Mac also commented on lubricating Jack so he could fit. I thought it was funny Jack couldn't remember Jill's name. I think it is a problem that Jill is in the closing credits, not the guest cast. Jack shouldn't have involved her in the plot. And when she was needed to help Matty, we know it was a real emergency.
I was relieved Bozer didn't get in trouble. They really tried not to make people suspicious about them.
"an aversion to wearing clothes".
I thought Mac was never going to get out of his mess. Things seemed to be going well but they got suspicious.

The commentary that is displayed in white lettering at the bottom of the screen during some scenes makes me laugh out loud. It is so unexpected and sometimes silly. What does this paperclip represent? MacGyver tossed it on the table and gave Matty a significant (unfriendly) look. I have wondered at times what an agent does if he has to sneeze or cough while in stealth mode, and that is what happened to Jack. We never did find out why he kept sneezing, but Sergei ran away from them. Mac enjoyed teasing Jack about the amount of radiation. It is nice to see Mac smile because he seems serious most of the time. The young people they met seemed healthy, but I cannot imagine why they would choose that site for a hangout. The criminals were wearing protective clothing while handling the nuclear waste, but we saw some of them had their helmets off. Poor Bozer. He is so worried that Matty knows he has information. I think she knows someone on her team broke into her home.

The opening scene was funny even though Mac was not in it. Jack and Matty were trying to catch someone. Jack's clothes were wet so he was wearing chaps with no pants underneath. He wound up chasing the perp through a crowd with his butt exposed. He was not even embarrassed. Then Matty slapped him on his bare bottom.
The we-want-to-get-paid Coltons are fun to watch as they go toe-to-toe with government agents. They did not hesitate to point weapons at Matty's team each time they ran into each other.
I was surprised and concerned that a beautiful lady like Riley was forming a relationship with someone she met on the internet. However, she has the skills to investigate everything about the man. If Jack knew she was doing that, he really would have a fit. It was funny when Jack said he threatened Riley's 12-year-old suitor. Poor kid.
Billy was very interested in Riley and made that clear to her while they were on the airplane. Flirtation came to a halt when it became necessary for Riley to hack the airplane's computer system. It was exciting to see the plane go silent and take a nosedive. After that, Riley and Billy deserved a romantic evening.
The Coltons were not allowed to take the fugitive(s) back with them for the bounty, but they were being compensated by the agency.
Mac continued to investigate the people in a photo with his father, but there was no mention of the break-in in Matty's apartment.

I wish they hadn't said "a long long time ago". I took that to mean it wasn't the present day so seeing Matty and Jack was strange.
My neighbor with the cats used to have a truck like the Coltons, but with smaller tires. Now my neighbors on the other side of the couple with the cats have a Chevy truck with big tires like that.
That was an exciting scene in the airplane. I wonder how much Riley explained to the crew before she did what she did. I was very concerned they might drop Riley from the cast.
The Coltons did deserve compensation. There was something they said that I didn't understand, but anyway, they got what they should have, I assume.
