I couldn't believe he was the one. I thought he could be trusted. Matty was in so much trouble.
I have an idea how Riley did what she did. I've known for a long time why files aren't really deleted on a computer, but what I didn't learn was how to find them. And it varies with the type of computer. I knew but have forgotten how to do it on an IBM PC. I know nothing about a Mac.
What is the name of the girl with the glasses?

Jill.
I thought Jack’s solution of shooting the balloons was funny and scary. But Jack was laughing the whole time.
When Mac and Jill were talking about pathogens on the dollar bills, Bozer wiped his hands on the back of Matty’s jacket and she gave him a suspicious look. That was funny.
I do not think Dawn has been established on the show well enough for me to cheer her act of giving the foster home a million dollars.

Jill. I thought Jack’s solution of shooting the balloons was funny and scary. But Jack was laughing the whole time. They must have given Jill a nickname, then. I knew she was Jill but when they called her something else, I forgot. I figured Jack's solution was the right one.

How many phones has Jack lost to MacGyver's ideas?

That's funny. He lost a phone in probably 75% of the episodes.

Riley felt guilty because she did not prevent the man from stealing an EMP device. Phoenix tracked the location the device would transfer to a buyer. It seemed like a case of intercept and take the device, but it did not work out that way.
The child the men tried to kidnap was a real brat, but Mac and Jack kept their cool and did everything they could to protect him. The boy's father was a recurring character on Once Upon A Time.
Lately, there have been a lot of comments and jokes made about Jack's age. I hope that is not leading up to him taking a break from the show. I like the chemistry between Mac and Jack, along with the rest of the team.
Riley was satisfied with getting her hands on the EMP device although it was no longer viable.

I didn't know the OUAT actor but I did know Lou Grant (I've actually seen him in many roles, but many more times playing his most famous one), and I recognized the name of his wife (I assume it was his wife) as the evil mother in "Carrie".
I wouldn't want Jack to leave the show. I didn't like him at first, or the show, but I gave the show a chance and he's much more likable now.

From another episode: I have seen part of "Die Hard". That was back when I couldn't watch two shows that were on at the same time. I was going to watch the rest later but later never happened.
I liked the music that was played in the episode, especially when they first arrived. People from places where Spanish is spoken sure do like bright colors. I noticed that about when they first got there.
Is it really a good idea to send cash to help the locals? Isn't there another way, considering bad guys would be out there.
I liked how Matty got the locals to pay attention to Jack. He was just seen as being in the way.
Mac did an amazing job and then he was willing to sacrifice himself.
My first thought when he had the opportunity to let the bad guys get caught was that they've had enough trouble with the power going out. Don't make it worse,
The same week this aired Puerto Rico had more power problems.

Yeah, they do this all the time.
I wondered if Riley would get in trouble for using her upgraded permission to find out about Mac's father.
Even though they changed what the former Area 51 was used for, they surely needed more soldiers. Those two were the only ones there at the time, which shouldn't have been the case anyway, but they have to sleep sometime. And go out.
I don't understand how Mac could read anything without a flashlight or something. They didn't show that it was a full moon, but even if it was, the stars wouldn't help much.
Jack was needed and he wasn't happy to be left behind.
Another fan of "Die Hard" is Jake on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine".

We would have been told if the elder MacGyver was Richard Dean Anderson. I never watched his series but I think I saw a TV movie with him. Still, I think we all wanted it to be him.
I thought surely Mac would change his mind. This can't happen.
I'll comment more later but I'm already risking more TV episodes by staying on the computer so long. It's because of my Lycos problems and other computer problems.

It was fun watching MacGyver and MacGyver work together. It seemed like his father was still testing him, but Mac does not need additional training. He is brilliant.

I did enjoy watching the two MacGyvers and their interaction with Jack. I liked Jack's Corvette.
Mac has to stay with Phoenix. The show wouldn't be the same with different characters.

Since Jack likes the "Die Hard" movies, I thought this was relevant.
Phil, Gloria and Cam on "Modern Family" went through the wrong door trying to get out of the nursing home where an unpleasant relative lived. They couldn't unlock the door so they started looking for ways out. They realized there was a vent so Phil decided he could go out that way. he made a reference to Die Harding and once inside said, "Yipiokiay mother ..." Then he realized his way was blocked.

Bear Trap & Mob Boss
SEASON 2, EPISODE 17 • NEW 3/9/18, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC
Mac, Jack and Riley set out to find a mobster-turned-informant after he's kidnapped and taken to Chernobyl by an international crime boss; Bozer struggles to keep a secret from Matty. I made a note I had missed this. I have it now (CW affiliate airs reruns) and will watch it tonight.

The commentary that is displayed in white lettering at the bottom of the screen during some scenes makes me laugh out loud. It is so unexpected and sometimes silly. What does this paperclip represent? MacGyver tossed it on the table and gave Matty a significant (unfriendly) look. I have wondered at times what an agent does if he has to sneeze or cough while in stealth mode, and that is what happened to Jack. We never did find out why he kept sneezing, but Sergei ran away from them. Mac enjoyed teasing Jack about the amount of radiation. It is nice to see Mac smile because he seems serious most of the time. The young people they met seemed healthy, but I cannot imagine why they would choose that site for a hangout. The criminals were wearing protective clothing while handling the nuclear waste, but we saw some of them had their helmets off. Poor Bozer. He is so worried that Matty knows he has information. I think she knows someone on her team broke into her home. I wondered what the paper clip was. The show is filmed in Georgia and it did look like North Carolina, when kudzu that covers everything loses its leaves. I wonder where they found buildings in that bad a shape to represent a town outside Chernobyl. The footage of Ukraine reminded me of where I went to college. There was a debate about whether to tear down the oldest high-rise dormitories whose style has been described as "Soviet Gulag". I would think "CCCP", not "USSR" would appear in a building that was part of the Soviet Union. Jack seemed wimpy. He's usually so tough. I liked how Mac kidded him about the radiation. My perception was Mac more serious than usual and I don't remember him smiling. He's still annoyed that Matty lied. I also suspect Matty knows and is waiting for Bozer to give himself away. It was nice to see another episode. I deleted all the others once I checked this thread to see if I had watched them. There are more in this season but I'll know to delete them. Not sure about next season yet. But now I hope there's another one.

We're back to Season 2 and episodes with Jack.
However, it appears I have seen every episode now so they will just get deleted.
