I liked the episode although there were two elements I did not enjoy.
I understand Dean wanting to protect his family from Rio. I do not know how he can do that without a gun because he is not as tough as Rio. Rio attacked Dean in the past even though Dean had not harmed him and Rio invades their space whenever he wants. Dean made one more attempt to be close to Beth, but she did not return his affection. I guess that will make him feel better about cheating on her.
I was surprised when Beth told Rio she had lost the baby, but it made sense to me. Knowing Rio was suspicious was depressing her and she needed a solid way out. I loved the scene when Rio and Beth kept making eye contact while she demonstrated the process. Their chemistry is palpable and I love it. Their dangerous teamwork makes the show exciting to me.
Annie did not handle rejection well, but the therapist did hug her too long which gave the wrong impression.
I am disappointed in Sara's disrespectful attitude toward her parents. Stan never wanted to be involved in anything illegal and he is not helping them to launder money. When Sara was snarky to Ruby, Ruby should have reminded her that she did it to save her life because it was the only way to pay for her medical treatment.
I am annoyed that it was not clear how Ruby handled the stolen pen situation with the pawnshop or the family it was stolen from. Did she return the pen?
The nasty bathroom and the discussion about it had no entertainment value.

Au Jus was the bird. The jokes about the bird were funny. But I liked how the bird replaced the fish.
However, Beth's comment that they reached a new low was correct. How I can still watch this show I'm wondering.
Even Annie did something I didn't like.
Stan having a good time with his daughter, even after what she did, made me feel good and bothered me at the same time.
Beth's husband nearly ruined everything because that was the only way she could print money.
I liked how it was described all the things the girls had to do to make the money.
It was dark when the gun went off. That gives me hope.

Kyle, I felt the same way about the episode.
I was hopeful that Lucy would survive until her husband said she did not come home. They were the sweetest couple and they did not deserve what happened to them. When Ruby and Annie went home, they were both focused on seeking comfort for themselves. They seem selfish now.
I thought Rio was exciting, but now I see him as a real thug.
I did not feel good after watching this episode.

I was disappointed that they would kill such a nice person for shock value.

Well, I thought things were looking good for Lucy. Ruby didn't see anything. Neither did Beth. But Annie did. I held out hope Annie didn't see what she saw but when they dug up Lucy, that was it. And when the phone worked, that was the proof.
Still, they managed to make some of the episode funny. Annie's therapists. And the bird jokes. I am so relieved at what was wrong with the bird.
I worry about Stan being a cop again if Ruby continues down this path. Still, Ruby did an impressive job trying to convince the people who decided whether he could go back to work.
Things went downhill fast when it was discovered the boyfriend knew where the phone was. But they got out of that jam.
It's hard to watch but Beth has to do what she has to do. I recognized the name of the card shop owner in the credits. She succeeded Mrs. Garrett on "Diff'rent Strokes" when Mrs. Garrett joined the "Facts of Life" cast.

I hate to admit getting over what they did to Lucy, but there was just too much comedy in this latest episode. The show is getting back to what it was if I try to pretend Lucy is just missing.
The bird went back to Lucy's boyfriend.
Beth taught the man to shoot, which was fun.
The man they borrow money from was hoping for something Lionel Richie "Easy". Instead he got Easy 105.9. That is a radio station in Myrtle Beach SC which plays Bon Jovi and Justin Bieber but has kept its name and call letters from when it played music for senior citizens.
I saw a movie that was sort of like this show. It was called "Empire State" and the events really happened. A security guard for an armored car company discovered how his company did a poor job making sure the money was counted and safe. So he and friends tried to rob the place. What he didn't count on was The Rock. Rudy Giuliani was the prosecutor.

Kyle, it’s good you are still enjoying the series. I realize I failed to say I was upset that Rio, who became my favorite, was the one who authorized killing Lucy. That ruined the character for me. I really enjoyed Rio’s blossoming friendship with Beth but I did not want them to be intimate. Now, I do not anticipate enjoying what they do.

It was even more of a comedy last night. Dark comedy, but still comedy.
Stan is making money from his job at the strip club that is just as immoral as what Ruby is doing, and now he doesn't care. Ruby does.
Boomer was back last night and as funny as he ever was, but there was a sad story too. And Boomer may be in the same situation as Lucy.
Beth and family are trying to furnish their house. It seems unlikely they'll get their old furniture back.

Another good episode, but it had one really upsetting scene relating to Lucy. Up until now I've just tried to put that out of my mind and try to enjoy it.
They hired a hit man who was an expert on explosives. And he looked like one. Not exactly MacGyver who has all his limbs. However, this man was able to refer them to someone else who charged a lot more money.
I liked the song "I Feel Pretty", and Beth really was. Her new nemesis looks homeless. And gets made fun of because she doesn't even try to look good. But she may actually bring them down.
The FBI came up with a great plan to catch the counterfeiters. The money smells like nail polish. All of a sudden, their color can't be found anywhere, like toilet paper in the real world.
And Ruby's scheme to get the right color involved getting up and giving her testimony in church and her daughter having her first period. The daughter didn't like having to lie and be an accomplice to stealing, but it was explained to her that kidneys aren't free.
Beth's husband accepted an award on behalf of his workplace. He had complained that his boss gets all the credit for all their hard work. For some odd reason, she chose not to go and let him accept. And now he's being a bad boy again. Beth was supposed to attend the ceremony but "work" required her to skip it.
Annie's still in therapy and her therapist's girlfriend is her new tutor. She wanted to get naked with her ex but it was his turn to feed the baby at night. She told her therapist they did what she wanted and it was pretty graphic.

Another really good episode. The funniest part was when the girls followed the hit man from his legitimate place of business, when he was carrying a cello case in his car. They saw him with an old man in a situation that made them think he was doing a mob hit. They saw him going after a nun collecting for charity. To give to her! What were you thinking? Then at a school. Well, of course. He has a daughter who plays the cello. And then they got caught. Is this a jilted lover? I don't do jilted lovers.
Also, the hit man has expenses. Very detailed. He does his homework. $60,000? That's just for starters.
Ruby's family hosted the parents of the donor of their daughter's kidney. Very awkward. And these church-going people didn't even say grace, but the parents turned out to be VERY religious. And very poor, but happy to go through whatever to accomplish what they needed to. The wife secretly wasn't afraid to take advantage of Ruby's family, as if they were better off.
The FBI now has enough on Ruby to go after her. Despite the two agents looking like bumbling idiots.
Annie was all prepared to cheat to get her GED but something went wrong. She gave up and her son said he would too, and just go to work at a convenience store too. That got Annie motivated. She really did try.
It was a scene that looked just like the Texas School Book Depository.
Beth's husband is going to sell hot tubs. I'm not too sure at this point how his business will be financed. Early in the episode that part wasn't looking too good.

I saw a commercial with Mae and two stars of her favorite show with "Zoey" in the title, all from home. She mentioned another show she wasn't familiar with. They were planning to watch the two shows this Sunday. Mae was gorgeous. Her hair looked more natural.
Retta was on "Parks and Recreation" last night. First on a Paley Center special, then on a new episode from home. I didn't like her character.

Okay, Ruby wasn't in as much trouble as I thought. The male agent said they didn't have enough. Then the female agent went and got Ruby to do her nails. And stole her phone.
Beth (whose 45th birthday was yesterday) is trying to buy the franchise from Dean's boss (did I ever mention she's the girl who was serenaded by Peter Gabriel blasting from a boom box in a movie). She doesn't want to sell. And Rio is making things very difficult for the Girls.
Bedtime came less than halfway through so I'll finish tonight but I'll post Friday.

If this show is cancelled, it ended without a cliffhanger. Beth and Dean have a business but Rio is a partner.
We don't know what happened to the hit man who was paid so much money.
I was worried Ruby and Stan would split up. Stan demanded to be repaid after Ruby bought a car for the parents of the kidney donor. She managed to do it. I think counterfeit money was involved.
And on that subject, we had one more funny robbery.

Oh, wow. Things have gotten so bad Beth was planning to go to Russia where she couldn't be extradited.
Ruby and her husband have a son like Sheldon. No, he's not just acting up in school. No, his teacher isn't prejudiced.
Annie's dealing with a son who gets away with a lot more at his father's house than when he's with her. Yes, he has friends. She just doesn't know them.
The hit man is taking his time because once the job is over he can't spend time with Beth.
And Rio is still putting the pressure on Beth.
Meanwhile, a dog brought some evidence and horrified its owner. Next thing you know Lucy's body has been found and evidence will soon point right to Beth.
The women who put pressure on Beth to cook and do all this other stuff for fund-raising and such persuaded her to make all these complicated foods. I saw the package she opened and threw out which contained cookies, so I assume she did the same with all the other great-looking food.
The hot tub store is open and the building inspector says no it isn't. And Beth shows her a lot of money and she says yes it is. If they hadn't gotten the place open they were broke. Unless ...

I'm not sure what I should post.
Ruby and Stan are dealing with the family whose daughter's kidney went to their daughter. But there is a positive development this time. Meanwhile, school doe a genius son is very expensive.
Rio has been questioned by the cops but they can't put him away yet.
The hit man insists on a nice dinner with Beth.
One of the kids woke Beth up saying, "Dad's dead!"
Dean and Beth can sell one company's hot tubs, but there's a catch. He needs to see the books. First the guy who looks like Kid from Kid 'n Play has to create books that won't look suspicious.
Annie is having a very difficult time with her son. And for reasons I don't understand, she makes sure she is the highest bidder for several items at an auction to raise funds for the boy's school. Though she showed up with the guy who lives in his car.
And the FBI agent went through the trash.
At least Beth and Dean have furniture now. This is related to making sure nothing about the hot tub store is suspicious. But where they get the money to pay for furniture is not clear. Annie's antics also seem to be part of this.
And there's a very big development that changes everything.

It has really gotten bad. Still, they manage to make it funny every now and then.
Dean is in jail. Beth can't get him out because their assets are frozen. She tried Rio and he offered to pay for bail if she could hit the 8-ball into the hole. He helped her do it. She did. And he said now she owes him less. They can no longer launder money because ... well, Beth had a talk with the employees as the suits went all over the store searching.
I've been referring to an FBI agent. She's actually Secret Service. I should have remembered they are the ones who deal with counterfeiters. The girl got a promotion and her office now has a window. She also talked with Beth.
Dean refused a second visit from Beth but he was so happy to see the kids. The Girls tried to convince them he was at the North Pole with Santa. It started out as a hot tub convention.
Ben wants to live with his father and Annie is really upset. Ben tried to say he didn't mind living with Annie but they're just not getting along.
There were positives about the episode. The scenes with teenage Beth meeting teenage Dean were really cute. Beth was an ice cream store employee and Dean was the quarterback hanging out with his friends who were making a mess that Beth has to clean up. Beth knew who he was because she was a cheerleader but they had never really met. And they started going out. Annie was annoying, demanding money from Dean for every little thing. Then Dean asked Beth to prom and showed up at the hospital in a tux with a corsage, and Beth looked beautiful in a sweatshirt after something happened to her mother. Dean's reaction reminded me of Jack and teenage Kate. It was never explained who was taking care of Annie, but Dean had to bribe her to know where to go.
Another way to get Dean out was hilarious. Eric, seeing what these Club Fed prisons are like (Dean is in regular prison with murderers), agreed to deposit counterfeit money in a bank. And the girls went through the process, even getting Stan to steal money from the club to use to make it. Stan's boss made Stan do some things he didn't want to because Stan has gotten the strippers to do things for him, and because it wasn't as simple as getting insurance to cover the burned armored truck. There was a big man who owed the boss money or something and Stan had to put the pressure on him.
But things didn't go well for Eric.

And it has gone from bad to worse. But it was funnier this week. There is a chance the nightmare may be over.
Beth had a talk with Rio, and he sounded like he would agree to let the feds take him away, but we know he can't be trusted. Beth showed Rio the new artist's work. he liked it but wanted to know who the artist was. Beth won't tell him.
The Secret Service were this close to a deal that would put Rio away and let the Girls and their families move where they wanted. Beth wants to go to Nevada, Annie to anywhere in the Pacific, and Ruby to Wyoming. Each of the girls was shown twice in a scene cleaning house. She was sitting in one place while she also moved around like Barry Allen. in Beth's case, there were many moving like that. Her house is nearly empty.
Someone reminded Beth the hit man still hadn't acted. Last week the hit man wanted more than money from Beth if he was going to speed up his schedule. This week it looked like the School Book Depository again as the hit man took aim at Rio. The Girls went to the man who helped them hire him but it was going to be complicated to call off the man. They bought supplies for the man who is on a list and if he buys this stuff, it will arouse suspicion. The girls realized what they had could be used to make a bomb. The man, when everything was delivered, said he was building a garden. Annie, while shopping, drank a soda and burped words. I think this has something to do with one of Beth's kids.
Somehow, Rio found the hit man and pulled a gun on him, so he may no longer be an option.
Beth's daughter Jane is being a brat. She wants her Daddy. There was no audio as Beth finally had enough. I'm guessing there was music playing but I don't remember. Dean almost refused a visit from Beth when there were no kids.
Annie attended several of Ben's lacrosse games and Ben finally caught her. She also decided she is through with therapy.
Ruby and Stan wonder if private school parents have jobs. They are both expected to attend an assembly for their genius son's school.
Stan is in trouble. He said he was through doing things for his boss and the boss seemed to agree he had done enough. Then a cop showed up asking questions. Stan had committed the robbery but the boss said he was at a bachelor party. The cop demanded footage and the boss said he would provide it. I guess that means fake footage that they can somehow convince the cops is from the time in question. Anyway, now stan knows he must do more dirty deeds for the boss.
