Good Episode Jon Cryer did great as Lex

So it was really Lex that had James shot. And now Lex is in charge, with his sister a prisoner, and things are about to get worse.
A couple of times Jon Cryer was good enough to be an iconic villain, but most of the time I pictured Rosenbaum saying, "Who is this wimp and why is he playing Lex?" He was Alan Harper as Lex, hardly a threat to anyone. But a really good actor could be better than that even when in such a weakened state.
When he ended the episode, he was worthy of being Lex.
I'm glad J'onn was able to take care of Manchester Black.
Alex got upset that Kara wasn't around but was working on a story. But she couldn't explain why J'onn needed her.
Nice painting of Lillian. Made me think of "Desperate Housewives".

I don't think we see the last of Manchester Black

Manchester Black made it difficult for me to root for him. I think Manchester's goal was irrational and there was no way J'onn would ever agree to kill all of those people who want to get rid of aliens.
I never trusted Lex and wondered if he was as sick as he seemed. Apparently, he really was ill. Now I am wondering if a side effect of the drug will give both Lex and James enhanced strength and some powers.
Did James have a sister on "Smallville" or in the comics? I do not remember that.
The scene where Lex eliminated the DOC officers was impressive and he was so nonchalant about it.
Eve is a traitor!

I thought of one more detail. Lex made fun of Wikipedia. ironically, when the WB boards were still around, it was a good source. But now we know the truth so getting information from there is now regarded as a joke.

This was one of the best episodes of the season.
I wonder why Kara's sister is named Alex? The other Supergirl remembered the name "Alex" and technically, Lex could have been named Alex, so he let her think that was his name. I enjoyed watching Lex teach her, even if he didn't have the best of intentions. Or, like the "Smallville" Lex, maybe he did.
Even if what he did at the beginning of the episode was truly despicable, Lex was entertaining.
They left out what happened that caused that drug problem in that one episode.
Linda managed to fool Alex. And she even got into Catco.
That was so mean to make Linda think that boy died. She had at least some redeeming qualities, including caring for that child.
Kaznia = Kazakhstan + Bosnia. I'm glad they made up a country but some of those words sure sounded Russian.

Kaznia = Kazakhstan + Bosnia. I'm glad they made up a country but some of those words sure sounded Russian. I was thrilled that they finally tied the other Supergirl/Snowbird story into what was happening with Lex. It makes sense now. She is not evil and she is more intelligent than Lex bargained for. Lex is evil. He plans to start a war and he does not care who wins or who loses, and he will be king when it is over. I believe Lex intended for the boy to die. We later saw Otis explain to Mikhail that no one can know that he is still alive and I think that included Lex. I might review that scene again to be sure.

Ben Franklin does plumbing as well as heating and air conditioning. I haven't found the ad online that I want people to see.
On "I Feel Bad" the main character is a hot woman over 40 who is insecure about her looks, so when she had to give a talk to a group of girls about choosing a tech career, her concern about her looks was obvious. She asked the girls to open up about when they had felt insecure about their own looks. The female reporter covering the event said she once covered a fire and got her eyebrows burned off. She said she looked like Lex Luthor.
