In Charlotte a new commercial aired before the episode. In the old one that usually airs, the two men are sitting around talking about Ben Franklin and a girl who looks like Supergirl, wearing the costume, shows up with popcorn. In the new one, a woman yells for help and Supergirl shows up but the woman's problem is her air conditioning is out (isn't it a little early for that?), Supergirl says she can't help but tells the woman about Ben Franklin.
I wasn't sure what was going to happen with J'onn's father. I was convinced he was real and not just his memory, but it turned out he was just memories, like in the Fortress of Solitude when Supergirl gets advice from her mother. That was pretty amazing, but it was all a test and not as bad as we thought.
I'm glad Alex and her boss believe that's not Supergirl but the president is not convinced.
The senator double-crossed us.
Lena and James sure recovered fast. And now Lena has to trust Supergirl. It's weird because she and Kara are such good friends. But Alex still doesn't know.
Superman is "off planet"? Someone needs to find him.
I'm not sure how they knew that woman had been cured by Lena's serum.
It was good to see Lillian back.
"Crazy Lex girlfriend." That was a reference to a certain CW show, right?

I was happy to see J'onn's father even though it was convincing that he would take the Martian symbols from J'onn. J'onn's inner struggle led him to acknowledge and accept his role as the Martian Manhunter. I must admit his red eyes do not make me feel warm and fuzzy.
I am glad Supergirl did not need to convince her allies that she did not attack the capitol. Lena accepted Supergirl's explanation of why she reacts badly to Lena's research and they can now work together.
It is good that Dox/Brainy has his ring as it is very important to him.
Eve is a heartless villain because she is the one who shot James. Waiting for the battle between Eve and Lena. They are both highly intelligent and strong-willed.

I didn't know last night's would be a rerun. But my newest TiVo kept going to 100 percent so I really needed the break.
This is sort of relevant seeing as how James, Lillian and Rhea were on "Desperate Housewives". On the "radio", meaning the Wisconsin radio station, I heard Felicity Huffman apologize for her actions trying to get her child into college.

Continuing with references to "Desperate Housewives", I didn't even know Orson Bean (on "Dr. Quinn" he ran the general store) was still alive. His TV wife died both on the show and in real life from the same cancer. But he was the doctor when Amy on "Superstore" gave birth.

During the first ten minutes, there was no audible dialogue, and there was very irritating static. I really wanted to see the episode so I kept watching.
I hope it does not take the rest of the season for Supergirl to convince people she has done nothing wrong. It is really sad that the people she is still helping are afraid of her.
I was amazed at what Lex managed to create while he was supposed to be a prisoner. Every guard at that facility should be locked up.
No one believes James is suffering from something other than PTSD. The bent lamp should have been enough to convince his sister. I hope Lena believes him and runs some tests.
I noticed there is a small scar near Kara's eyebrow. The same scar is noticeable on Supergirl.

Kara and Supergirl look alike when they smile. No one notices this?
I couldn't believe what Lex could get away with.
I'm glad Supergirl has her supporters. And Alex's superior did a good thing but was found out.
I don't like seeing James in this situation. He has always been so strong. Now I don't like the kind of strong he is.
How did that guy who blew up not die? I noticed supergirl struggled but could still function when everything was turning green.

Interesting watching James' father's funeral. That was unbelievably cruel what those bullies did. James' sister did something that reminded me of "The Flash".
J'onn directed, and he wasn't in it until the very end.
Kara can't be a good friend to Lena because she is too busy being Supergirl, but now Supergirl has to be in hiding, so she has to devote her time to being Kara. I liked her broadcast.
Dreamer did an amazing job.
I was pleased Lockwood's son still has a conscience.

Eve is devious and I think she is violent. She fooled everyone, but Lena is the most hurt by Eve's lies. Kara has been fooling Lena for so long about her secret identity, I do not see how their friendship will survive.
James was funny when he said do not hit his face, but he seems indestructible.
I do not know how Alex could nurture a newborn while running the DEO.
Supergirl had to fight a lot of Eve "clones". There must have been kryptonite in the weapons because Supergirl felt pain when they stung her.
It was a good episode and next week's episode should be exciting.

Eve is devious? Where was Eve? All we saw were a bunch of brainless robots under the control of something that had a glitch in it, at least in the case of the first one. She was funny.
James was right to worry about his face. he didn't know for sure he would be safe.
His sister looks like someone who works at one of the libraries I go to. I always feel like the librarian thinks I'm doing something wrong, and James' sister gives me the same feeling. Her relationship with Alex suggested that if she were gay, they … oh, wait, she IS.
I felt bad for Alex but she has no business raising a child without a partner. Her job just requires too much of her.
I was afraid Kara would confess but she stopped just in time. I liked how she faked being shook up in the incidents. I am curious how Supergirl got out of the plane and where her regular clothes and glasses go when she is being Supergirl. At least now she knows what's going on.
Kara kept encountering kryptonite but she was lucky she never had to explain. I got confused when she was with the President but then he doesn't know.
I dodn't know how many cities on that map were real, but I recognized Irkutsk from a children's atlas I had.
Lex's ex on "Two and a Half Men" is the high school principal on "Speechless".

Yes, it was entertaining the way Kara faked being shook up in the incidents. I also wondered how she exited and reentered the plane. I think Supergirl assisted the plane in landing safely, but Lena thought she had done it with a little luck. There appears to be a lot of kryptonite around and I thought Lena might notice Kara's reaction. Kara has to be close to the kryptonite for it to really weaken her. I did not mention that I enjoyed Dax's understated attempts to prevent Lockwood from succeeding in harming aliens. I love his mannerism. |

Someone is creating Eve replicas but we didn't see her doing it.
Lockwood's wife's funeral. I forgot that. That was so sad how his son was up there and his father just had to leave.
I can't think who Dax is.
