A couple of problems with buying anything where I get points.
I went to town on June 30 when it would have been more of a problem, so I didn't buy anything where I get points.
And then I developed symptoms which cause me not to be allowed inside most buildings. I'm doing somewhat better now but early and late in the day I still feel lousy.
No gas price changes to report from any of the usual places.

I ran out of gas today when mowing so a trip to the former Texaco is coming soon.
$2.01 BP and Speedway not on Innes but I happened to see $1.99 at Walmart.
$2.05 Citgo. I did not see the former Citgo.
I got milk at the store where I get points. It had to be a separate trip because I went there earlier but I had to be on my way home. And then the man didn't ask for my phone number. I had to get someone to straighten it out so I'd get the two extra points.

I'm over 100 points after my last two visits to the store. $2.01 former Citgo.
The store did actually have a sign saying don't come in if you're sick. I didn't see it before I went in. But I had a mask on and a cold with muscle aches is probably just a cold, even though I just got over one. How does this keep happening, especially in the summer?

I filled up the can for my mower at the former Texaco, which was $1.99 (but I paid $2.69 because the mower needs premium), same as the Shell across the street and the Citgo and the former Citgo. BP and Speedway not on Innes were $1.98.

I'm over 200 points and need to buy only about $30 worth of stuff to get up to 300. Assuming double points continues.
And it's a good time. $1.93 Speedway not on Innes and BP. $1.96 Shell closest to where I live. $1.97 Citgo. I didn't see the former Citgo.

For the first time since February I saw the Shell closest to where I live going in the other direction, which was $2.09. The other Shell was $1.79. I did not see the Shell beside the interstate because I have been told the college there is not opening its library.
The Shell closest to where I live went down to $1.89 but the former Texaco across the street was still $1.96. It might have changed during the day.
BP and Speedway not on Innes were $1.89 and Citgo was $1.92. I walked past the Citgo but no hot dogs. Even if they let me, that's just not safe. I got 300 points so my gas was $1.59. And I was almost empty, like the last time.

Gas just keeps going down.
$1.82 Shell closest to where I live.
$1.80 BP and Speedway not on Innes.
7-Eleven bought Speedway. I wonder if that means the name will be changing? There are so many around here.
I forget what Citgo was. Lower than last week. I passed the former Citgo but don't remember that one either.

$1.99 Shell closest to where I live going in the other direction, $1.75 at the other Shell.
$1.76 BP and Speedway not on Innes but Speedway was $1.78 later in the day. $1.79 Citgo. The former Citgo was higher. I've also forgotten what it was at the Shell closest to where I live.

$2.07 BP and Speedway not on Innes yesterday. Murphy's held out and kept theirs at $1.86 despite being surrounded by higher prices.

Earlier in the week, stations around the Murphy's were about the same. I don't remember the exact number. Shell closest to where I live was $1.89 but a lot higher when I returned home. I don't remember what either one was in the morning but Speedway not on Innes was $2.17 and BP was $1.99 in the afternoon and since I bought enough stuff (including my first rolls of toilet paper since finding it became a problem, because I already had plenty) for 200 points, I really should have gone ahead and gotten gas there. I thought I had enough gas that I wouldn't really benefit, but now I'm close to being out, so I really hope next week is better. I walked past Citgo but can't remember what it was.
Pure $2.09. FastFuels and Speedway $2.19, the first time I had seen them since the day the world changed. I could have gotten gas where I got ice cream but they didn't require me to spend $5 to use a credit card like they always have before.

Gas did not go down but the low fuel light came on. I haven't used my points yet. Speedway not on Innes was still the same. Then it went down to $2.12 and so did BP. Citgo was still $2.17 but the former Citgo was $2.15. and I can't remember what the Shell closest to where I live was. The former Texaco across the street has reopened its restaurant.

I'm getting close to needing gas. I'm hoping Shell will have a really low price, but I'm waiting longer to use my BP points. I'm close to 300 and maybe gas will go down. If I go to the beach when I usually do, it will likely be lower down there.
$2.07 BP and Speedway not on Innes. I was sure I'd remember the others but I don't.
The former Texaco is called Phil-Up although it sells Citgo gas.

I'm 20 points away from 300 and it looks good for me to go to the beach next week, based on the weather.
I had a red white and blue shirt ready so I went somewhere on Friday. Shell closest to where I live going in the other direction was $1.99. Most places were. Including the two BPs I passed. I didn't see the other Shell. The one by the interstate is next to one of the two-year colleges and I can't go there yet. QT was $1.90 and the low fuel light was on. A couple of places were $1.89. This is why I refused to go to BP and fill up.

The weather forecast looks good and I managed to get 300 points.
$2.01 BP and Speedway not on Innes (where I got gas AGAIN. I've spent $30 waiting for gas to go down). $2.03 Shell closest to where I live. $2.07 Citgo.

$2.15 Speedway not on Innes and BP on the way home. I think the Shell closest to where I live was about the same.
The first station in South Carolina was actually over $2 but that was on the way home. A number of places in North Carolina were less than $2.
Pilot was $1.77. But I needed to use my points. $1.67! Wait. That changes to $1.77 for credit. And it's not a BP any more. Back to Pilot because it has a Dairy Queen and I'm almost out.
Finally! $1.77 at a BP. And I only had 200 points. I had 300 when this month was included so I don't know what was wrong. I'll have to call.
I really should have waited until I was on my way home. Anyway, I went back to Pilot and filled up.
Some places close to the beach were $1.72 including a BP. Prices were higher at the beach.

$1.92 Speedway not on Innes and BP, $1.93 Citgo and $1.94 Shell closest to where I live. The former Texaco is advertising for people to work in their restaurant.
$1.99 Shell closest to where I live going in the other direction. $1.95 at the other Shell. I didn't go to where QT is. I did see one place that was $1.87.
And I started buying where I get points again but didn't make any big purchases.

$1.89 Speedway not on Innes and BP, $1.91 Citgo. I never see the former Citgo any more. I can't remember now what the Shell closest to where I live was.
Former DB $2.09. I forgot that one last time but it had been a while so it must have changed. Former Kangaroo QM and BP $1.85 ... and I'm getting close to one-fourth. $1.87 ($1.77 Easy Pay) Circle K, which I forgot also. $1.87 Spee. I filled up on the way home. $25 was just about right and I used my points.

I bought a lot of stuff but didn't see how close I got to 100 points. I have to get there next Tuesday.
$1.87 Shell closest to where I live. $1.84 BP and Speedway not on Innes by the end of the day. $1.85 Citgo.
$1.99 Shell closest to where I live going in the other direction, $1.86 at the other Shell. I didn't have a reason to see QT. And I haven't seen the Shell by the interstate since the library there has been closed.

I can't remember what Citgo or the Shell closest to where I live were.
BP was $1.81 and that did not change but Speedway not on Innes was $1.79. Usually BP changes to match since they are so close together.
I may have finished getting my points earlier this week. But it wasn't easy. I looked at my receipt and couldn't find where it said how many points I had. The cashier looked and realized I hadn't told her my phone number. Well, she didn't ask. They always ask. The best thing to do would have been to cancel the transaction and start over. Instead, they figured out what I would have saved on the items that were on sale and started to hand me cash. I asked where were my points. At some point I was told don't worry because they don't expire. I had to explain to them that it wasn't about when they expire. It was about the fact I had less than a week, and wasn't planning to come back to get any more points, otherwise I would lose the points I had. Until I get to 100, I said, i wouldn't get anything off at the gas pump. Someone said you get 3 cents. Oh, yeah, like that means anything. I spent a lot of money to save 10 cents a gallon, including what I spent that day, and I expect to get the savings. They called corporate and said it would take a few minutes, and then they said it would take a few days but I should have my points.
