94 Saturday, officially. I don't think anyone was expecting that. I'm amazed these meteorologists who can't be bothered to tell us the low and the high didn't mention it because that's kind of high. It looked like it was about to rain most of the afternoon and the nearest town did get enough rain to lower the temperature significantly. There's no report from where I live.
Almost as hot yesterday.
And it continues.

It is 92 but feels like 96. It has been too hot for me to do anything inside or outside.

We were supposed to get more comfortable weather. The humidity is lower and it hasn't been getting up in the 90s, but out in the sun it still feels pretty much the same.

Back in the 90s Saturday. It was supposed to rain yesterday but it just looked like it would for a while, so 89. Today it actually did rain, eventually, and then it stopped.
Looks like this pattern will continue.

It has been in the 80s all week but some days it was the low 80s.
It wasn't supposed to rain on Tuesday, though one forecast said it would in the morning. That was on the station with Roy. In fact, it looked like it would rain any minutes all morning and I did get rained on briefly while walking.
This weekend is supposed to be wet. I don't mean like most of the weekends lately. I mean WET. And the Panthers play for the first time.

Saturday morning was wet but it just looked like it was about to rain for the rest of the day. It did rain at night but except for early morning it was a nice day yesterday. Today has been nice but it looks like it could rain. I was reluctant to go to the beach until the entire week was nice, not just Tuesday through Thursday. I've gone to the beach on Mondays like today and regretted it.

I was right not to go to the beach. I saw the radar Monday night from the time when I would have arrived. It looked bad. A storm came through where I live and as it moved east there were warnings.
But it has been a nice week with cool temperatures.
Next week is more of the same. I haven't seen anything to indicate I can't go to the beach, except for a forecast that had a tropical storm headed this way. On a different station the storm was either moving offshore or into the Gulf of Mexico. I would assume it can also go anywhere between those. But so far nothing from the newspaper at the beach that indicates this storm is a threat.
Edit: Fiona. It has a name. Now where will it go? They didn't say.

The forecast showed close to a zero chance of rain all week. I wish I could see what the forecast was for Thursday when I left because it poured when I was on my way home. I heard a forecast on the radio for a 20 percent chance of rain. Where was that rain going to come from because there were hardly any clouds. Well, there sure were a lot more soon after that. I had stopped at the library when it started coming down.
And there were a lot of clouds on the way to the beach even though I thought there weren't supposed to be hardly any. I got rained on while walking! Just a few drops, and the sun was back out almost immediately. At least this meant it wasn't hot. When I was outside late in the day later in the week, I was reminded how much nicer it was when I thought prices didn't change until October.
Officially here, 96 yesterday. Quite a shock this morning. I waited until it was actually ready and the low was 51 (no reason they couldn't have given us that much). High 75.

49 Saturday morning. Yesterday the high was 75 but it was cloudy most of the day. The man on the radio said mostly sunny. It weas raining like it did when I went to the beach, but the sun wasn't out at the time. There was more rain later.
It's supposed to be cool all week and depending on where Ian goes, we are supposed to get rain by the weekend. This would not have been the week to go to the beach because it is definitely going to rain Thursday.

70s or upper 60s for highs, 50s or upper 40s for lows earlier in the week.
Today I haven't seen what the temperature actually was, but it sure was cool, and windy, this morning. Not a lot of rain earlier, at least while I was outside, though there were some large puddles so there must have been rain. The heavier rain has started but so far not a lot of wind, though it was windy yesterday while it was still nice.
Not the week to go to the beach, but it wasn't so bad at the time I would have left to go home if I arrived on Monday and came home on Thursday. I wouldn't have wanted wind, and I was happier when it was sunny last week.

It has been cool for several days. Because it has been cloudy even after the tropical storm was gone, it never got as low as 50, but it didn't get that warm either.
I didn't watch any forecasts. I didn't want to know how bad it was going to be. I'm glad I didn't, because Ian was headed this way and the forecast I recorded said 60 MPH gusts. As it turned out, it went farther east and according to the TV station I saw afterward, the highest gusts in the town closest to where I live were 44 MPH.
It's not going to get much warmer. I was hoping summer would come back.

Much calmer this week but it has been down in the 40 and today was the only day it was supposed to get close to 80. And then it really gets cold.

Saturday wasn't as cold as they said. Turns out Sunday wasn't either. Low 48, high 69 (officially). Lows were shown for towns around the area on one station and the town closest to mine had a low of 42. However, I blame that on the weather station being way down low. But the high there was also warmer than 69.
About the same the rest of the week but i think there may be rain. Believe it or not, we need it.

I had to go a day early, even though the restaurant where I ate lunch wouldn't have chicken salad. But I was ready for another hot dog. And I had chicken salad the previous day. But it was $5.45! It was less than $4 when I started going to that restaurant.
It was such a nice day on Tuesday. And it already looked like it might rain on Wednesday, even though the worst weather was going to happen on Thursday. I did get rained on a couple of times but the sun kept coming back out. I went on my walk early just in case and it's a good thing I did. The rain was light but it didn't stop.
It was in the 70s most of the week and the lows weren't too cool but that's about to change, especially next week.

I'm listening to an Ohio radio station for music. It isn't perfect but when the station plays good songs they are really good. High of 41 and rain mixed with snow!
Officially, it got close to 80 over the weekend, but temperatures are going to get a lot closer to those in Ohio, at least in the morning.

80 Monday. However, the meteorologist did say what the low and high were and said the low would be the next day's high. He was right.
Tuesday felt colder because it was windy. However, I wore short sleeves and no jacket and I was comfortable by the time I went for a walk. I passed a church where children were in school and some were wearing shorts. I guess that was recess.
They didn't say it would get down to 30 but it did, and about the same yesterday. It was a little warmer but I felt a lot warmer.
Ohio's forecast for tomorrow is warmer than ours!

Finally, lows in the 40s instead of 30s, and highs in the 70s instead of 60s. There was no mention of rain but it was cloudy this morning and looked like it had rained.

It was up, in the 70s most days this week. It had rained when I got up and it looked like rain most of the day on Wednesday but I don't think it ever did during the day.
It got cooler again and rain late Sunday and maybe Monday.

It didn't get out of the 50s yesterday but it didn't get any colder than that either. It looked like it was about to rain all day and that's how it has been today too. IO think it may be warmer. Saturday wasn't a lot nicer.
All of the rain has fallen at night so far.

Officially, 80 on Saturday. Same today. Yesterday there was some rain but most of the day it was just cloudy. Still, lows have been much higher than normal. Later this week those will be the highs.

It didn't get that cool, but when I saw the forecast for the rest of the week I knew there was no way I could go to the college I graduated from on Veterans Day. I haven't had to do that since I got a computer, so it's just a way to keep from going the wrong place when there is nothing open. I did have to go the library when my Internet went out earlier this year, but so far so good.
I already knew Nicole would be here on Friday, and it was a nice day and warm on Tuesday. After I heard the forecast my first thought was I need to go to the college on a nice day. Thursday it won't rain (wrong) but it just won't be nice. And I'm really glad I did go. It was nice. Not warm, but several girls were exercising and dressed like it was. I spent too much time on the computer because there are things I can do there that I can't do at home. It was almost dark when I got home. How did I walk several different places on campus in years past and still get home early?
Thursday it was a little warmer but the sun never came out. The rain started before I would have been home, based on when I got home the day before.
Today, could the forecast have been wrong? The sun was out! Then it wasn't. Then I got rained on when I walked. Not hard rain, and I was close to home. Then the sun came out again. Then it rained. It's raining now harder than it has all day.
And then it gets really cold. I heard a forecast of snow in Ohio.

How is this possible? Last Monday there was a record high of 82 and tomorrow snow is possible. Not accumulating in this area, but there could be a mix.
It wasn't actually that cold yesterday since it got into the 60s but the wind made it feel colder. At least it was a nice day. Saturday was warmer but more cloudy.

It didn't get out of the 40s Tuesday and it rained part of the day. I put up my tree.
Both Wednesday and yesterday it was warm enough that I could walk outside with short sleeves and no jacket when I did walk later in the day.
And it gets even colder.

Getting warmer in Ohio. I was cold when I was outside on Saturday. With long sleeves, which I don't like to wear. However, the official high was 56. How am I comfortable with short sleeves during the week with the same temperatures? I don't think the sun was out.
Yesterday it didn't get out of the 40s and this morning was supposed to be the coldest yet. I can't find my cap which is supposed to be in the jacket I wear on really cold days. However, I didn't wear the jacket and I would have been hot if I had.
It gets warmer later in the week but rains on Thursday. However, I was watching the news and saw the parade will be on Wednesday. That's probably a good thing if the rain hasn't started, but again it'll be at night. That just doesn't seem right. I had forgotten they did that.

No rain Thursday. Another really nice day with upper 60s. That's after low 20s on Monday.
And the rain that was supposed to happen today didn't happen either. After rain last night, the sun came out this morning. I got rained on briefly with the sun out today. I don't know whether it will rain tomorrow because the forecast keeps changing. Now they're saying rain Sunday.

68 three days in a row, and Saturday was about the same with no rain, despite what we kept being told. Even warmer on Sunday once the sun came out. However, it was wet in the morning and I went ahead and got my exercise not realizing it would be over soon.
Seems nice today too but Wednesday will be bad and then it gets cool again.

No rain during the day on Wednesday. It was nice and warm until yesterday when it was 32, and in the afternoon I was able to walk outside with short sleeves and no jacket. 20s this morning but it must have warmed up quickly because when I bundled up I was hot. Rain tomorrow.
