Got my hours messed up. Took too long of naps. Daylight hurts my eyes. But there is a free community spaghetti dinner at noon tomorrow so I better try to sleep soon.

What keeps me up at nights?
Tons of various things that go through my mind, making my mind run a mile a minute when it should be resting so I can sleep...
What I started doing is, I got a soothing sounds app on my Kindle Fire, and I play it with my headphones on while in bed. I'm practically asleep within an hour.

Any presidential candidate that runs on a platform of free spaghetti gets my vote! ![]() Unfortunately the spaghetti weavel has wiped out most of our crop in Alabama.  |

The spaghetti wasn't spaghetti. Turned out to be Johnny Marzetti (sp?) and I had to fill out forms to get it (with my current eyesight -- not easy to do) so it wasn't quite free. It was filling.
I really miss having Skyline Chili. Used my last can. The closest restaurant where I can buy more is many miles away and I don't really want to pay the cost of having it mailed to me.
We don't have a good spaghetti place in town right now, but a local sub shop has excellent meatballs for sale for 75 cents each.

I've never had Swiss spaghetti straight off the tree! Sounds good. Especially on a day when it's mostly cloudy with a chance of meatballs and marinara rain.

I like McDonald's Biscuit and gravy the best. Funny thing was that they never used to let anyone know they had it back when it cost about $1.12. They one after the other, the McDonalds' stopped carrying it. When it was gone entirely, they re-introduced it with a lot of advertising and at only double the price.

I doubt it that he return. He's a hero--and they always return when they are needed most. In spite of whatever is happening to them on a personal basis, when they hear the call for help, they are there. I don't doubt for a second that he will be back when the time is right. He is a guiding and missed voice of our group family. ![]() |
