I am really looking forward to October 3. If the rest of the episode lives up to the sneak peek, we're in for and awesome evening.

Dean seems different in this and he appears to be hiding something. Sam looks happy but shocked. I am more interested in the continuing conversation they will have thru out this episode, that is what I want to see!

I think Dean is hiding the fact that a monster helped him to escape Purgatory. If Supernatural makes the leap that the Novak and Winchester bloodlines are mixed, I will scream!

I'm now worried about the October 3 season premiere date for Supernatural.

The first presidential debate is scheduled for October 3. Jeez, I hope it doesn't bump Supernatural.

Politics already screws us in SO many ways. I don't know if I can take this one.

When has the CW, a network that struggles these days to get even a million viewers for a show, given any indication that it acknowledges anything going on in the real world?

There is no CW News organization. They leave that to CBS, even though you'd never know the two are connected.

This is the network that brought you The Pussycat Dolls. I don't think you've got anything to worry about in terms of Supernatural getting pre-empted.

I hope you're right, but they may do things differently in the local markets. They have in the past, so I remain a bit worried.

They did in my local market for a tornado, I just know the locals will screw us over again.
and Jared and Jensen both look gorgeous, Misha would if he had some different clothes, those just look nasty.

I am very excited about S8- it's gonna be great!

They are finally putting the shoe on the other foot, and Dean is gonna be the one keeping secrets and making poor decisions for a change. And hopefully that means= actual POV for Sam! Won't that be a refreshing change!
I choose to remain hopeful that Amelia and Kevin are going to be good sounding boards for Sam, letting us hear what he thinks. Not to mention, VERY excited to hear about the return of the great guest stars, like Sheriff Mills, Charlie, and Garth- just fantastic!

And now Dean is gonna have a whole new mytharc- that's gotta be good right? I think Dean and Cas had some big bust up in Purgatory, and Cas got all judgemental, and Dean had to leave him behind to escape with his new buddy. Dean doesn't want to admit it, so he lied to Sam about Cas having died.

The impala looks and sounds great! Sam obviously took good care of her. And the brothers will be on a quest together!! That is FANTASTIC right there.

I can't wait for Season 8!

The interview puts a different spin on the relationship than people's speculations. The assumptions I have read leaned in the direction of Dean reluctantly working with Benny sort of like he had to work with Crowley. Apparently not.

I'm looking forward to the season starting.

And, unlike others, I like a little tension between Dean and Sam. It makes for some good action.

There are those who constantly comment, "I only watch the show for the brotherly bond." Well, that seems terribly narrow to me. I like them friendly, angry, working together, working apart. I just like them!

It will be interesting to see how the Dean/Benny, Sam/love interest play out this season. And with Crowly and Castiel in the mix, it should be good. The only thing that would make it better would be Bobby. But almost as good would be the return of Frank and the death of Garth.

It's so close I can almost smell sulfur!

Yes, this bothers me as well. I, too, was under the assumption that Dean only really worked with Benny because Benny helped Dean escape Purgatory.

Now it sounds a little like a repeat of Season 4--but instead of Castiel being Dean's buddy, it's Benny.

Actually, it is a bit like Season 4. Dean has a new friend, and I'm going to guess that Benny only talks to Dean--just like Cas really only talked to Dean--and Sam has a new friend--who's a girl. Hopefully Amelia's normal, so it won't be a complete copy of Season 4--which, by the way, I really didn't like that season.

Maybe it won't be so bad, maybe I'm just freaking myself out for no reason. I feel like I'm going nuts.

The show does a pretty good job with flashbacks. However, it sounds like there will be a tremendous amount of flashbacks. I hope they keep the timeline straight because some fans had conniption fits when the show "adjusted" a year previously.

I wonder what the Opening Song will be for the premiere?

I remember Season 7's premiere song was "Soul Ride". Which made perfect sense considering Season 6 was all about the souls.

Even Season 6's opening song "Beautiful Loser" made sense, but I can't come up with what song would work for this Season.

I guess, if anything, it would be a song about loss. Considering they lost Bobby, Frank, and Cas--sort of. As well as the Impala.

What does anybody else think?
