The Glitches thread looked weird again just now.
Edit: And now it's normal.
Edit: And after editing, it's the new look again.

The main page also had a weird look until I refreshed. Of course, it also had wrong times for last posts.
Edit: back to normal here.
Edit: Even after editing.

I logged into IE9, with signatures enabled. Usually, the gray bar highlights the signature line that some people choose to add to their profile. That signature line is the last line of the post.
If signature is disabled or the post does not have a signature line, then the gray bar is highlighting the "Report to Mod", etc. line which is then the last line.
I could not tell that previously because I had signatures disabled.
I have not seen any enlarged text or quotes that are in black yet.
I will still see if other staff members have any idea why this is happening.

About the time Kyle made this post a lot of forum owners were reporting loading problems at ProBoards Support, so it's likely a ProBoards server issue.
With some forums beginning early upgrades to ProBoards V5 it's likely that we will see a few more problems than normal over the next few months, but they should be temporary in nature.

Hey Marshall,
I just checked on ProBoards Support and there a lots of posts about folks having problems right now. They are supposed to be working on it.
I don't have the same problem with clicking on that topic. It works ok for me.
Which internet browser are you using? And, have you tried using another one, to see if you get the same issue?

Ok, thanks Marshall. We will report this to ProBoards Support since it's still affecting you. I missed the part where you said what browser you are using when it happens.

The angry bears have really been angry today. And sadly, no bear appeared on the screen with the V5 error.
Mostly I got sent to the main page when I tried to do anything.
Edit: I also got "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."

Thanks for letting us know, guys. I'm guessing this is a proboards issue, but I will bring this up to the other mods and admins, regardless.

Kyle and Marshall, thank you for your reports. That's what the Glitches thread is here for. 404 Internal Server errors are fairly routine. We all get them from time to time. It's considered to most often be a client-side problem, which means that the user's side has a problem with accessing the site's server. That's not always the case, but more often than not it is. On the other side of the coin, ProBoards uses vast server systems to make the site work. As anyone who has dealt with servers will tell you, it's not unusual to have occasional hiccups within that are temporary in nature and resolve themselves fairly quickly. It's only when the errors are not resolved that you should have concern. I wouldn't worry about a blip or two. If you should have continuing problems, in addition to posting here, you can look at ProBoards Support to see if other sites are reporting similar problems: support.proboards.com/And please continue to let us know when you have problems.
