This was a short-lived ProBoards problem that was reported on ProBoards Support and solved fairly quickly. You shouldn't see it now.

I got the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message again. Including when I tried to post this. Thank you for reporting this. Here is a report from ProBoards support about the issue: Post by Ricky Zyvoloski 15 minutes ago "We're aware of an issue at the moment that may cause some forums to load slowly or not at all. Our system admins are working on this issue to have it corrected as soon as possible. We'll provide further updates in this topic as they come. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime." You can follow the ProBoards Support thread on the issue here: support.proboards.com/thread/461768/slow-non-loading-forums#

It happened for the third time as I tried to access this very page. Not the edit screen, but the page itself.

Is it the same issue you reported in this post? I got the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message again. Including when I tried to post this.

I just checked proboards support for any new threads on this issue and I cannot see any. I'm assuming this is just a random thing kinda like the angry bear, but please let us know if the issue persists and we will keep checking proboards support to see if this issue pops up for anyone else on their forums.

It has happened to me a couple of other times but I didn't document exctly what I was doing. It didn't happen today, though something really weird happened. There are four buttons at the bottom of the screen and when I did something, a thread from here replaced whatever I was looking at and everything froze. I wish there was a way to document what happened, but I finally had to give up and turn off the computer, and there was no "error report" like when I get a "not responding" message and a box pops up telling me I can quit.

And it just happened. I was replying to a post.
As for the other, I don't know that anything about Proboards would have caused it. I'm running a scan and that slows down the computer. Somehow that might have caused some instructions to get switched.

Hmm, that does sound strange. You're probably right with the fact that it is not a proboards issue, but as always, I have checked support and there is nothing about this. I would say, make sure that there are no viruses on your computer and if it does happen again, we're gonna need you to provide more information about the issue.

I had serious problems today. First I was having a very hard time scrolling. Then pages were freezing completely.
Then I started seeing images, which I chose to block as it makes this site a lot easier to read.
I clicked on the red X and came back another way, and the problems went away, but I was not signed in.

It's a complicated error, from what I see. What browsers are you guys using? They say that using IE or Firefox would be a temporary fix.

I clicked on the back button to get back to where I was and ended up with "about:blank" where the URL should be. This has happened all too many times, but it's the first time on this site.
The only reason I report it is that I found myself signed out when I figured out how to get back.

DNS Resolution Error You've requested a page on a website (displacedcwloungefan.proboards.com) that is on the CloudFlare network. Unfortunately, CloudFlare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (displacedcwloungefan.proboards.com). There are two potential causes of this: • Most likely: if the owner just signed up for CloudFlare it can take a few minutes for the website's information to be distributed to our global network. Check back in about 5 minutes and the site should be up and running and enjoying all the benefits of CloudFlare. • Less likely: something is wrong with this site's configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider's DNS fails. • Timestamp: Fri, 19-Jul-13 20:47:50 GMT • Your IP address: [...] • Requested URL: displacedcwloungefan.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=48&page=12 • Error reference number: 1001 • Server ID: FL_21F8 • Process ID: PID_1374266870.846-1-394347125 • User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; Trident/5.0)

Same thing just happened again.
The weird thing is Iwas all set to click on "Back" but didn't do it right away for some reason, and as is often the case when I wait to do something, it was explained what I am about to do. #11460 went nearly all the way across the screen.

As I boot up my PC, my modem dialing next to me,
I ask the Lord, give me a sign.... Will I ever get on-line??
If you'd kindly let me through, I'll byte no more than I can chew.
I'll surf the waves amid the Net, with my mouse, my loyal pet.
And through each window I will see the ProBoards that are offered me.
Resisting other chat room's lure, I'll download only what is pure.
If system errors don't prevail, I vow to read all Evicted mail.
If you save me from a crash, I'll dump my games into the trash.
Just please don't take my CD-ROM! Thank you Lord, God Bless.com.

More than once in the past few minutes I have gotten a white screen. Once it was when I tried to reply to a post here.
Another time it was after I had replied on the Vent Thread.
