I figured it might have something to do with me having a dial up connection. I am way too poor to afford the high speed connection.

Also, I have AOL browser/internet provider but I have to open Internet Explorer browser in order to be able to log into the board.

The drama of it all!!!!! But I love this boards and it is worth it to discuss my favorite shows.

That being said, I have been coming to these message boards (WB/CW) for over six years now. Things have changed quite a bit recently, so I stopped coming to the boards. I've started reading and posting again, and one of the most blatantly ridiculous things I've seen are links being taken out of posts.

First of all, the following quote is under the Community Guidelines as a violation: Linking to content not allowed under these guidelines or under the Terms of Use.

So in the Community Guidelines, it states links are allowed, as long as they are within the aforementioned rules.

However, I have seen posts mods have edited stating links are not allowed, even though they were topical and appropriate.

I suggest either you edit the Community Guidelines so you don't look like foolish hypocrites, or you allow links. Preferably the latter.

Links are an extremely important commodity in online communication, and I don't think they should be ruled out due to moderator laziness. Seriously, click a link, see if it's appropriate. It's not very difficult considering you're evaluating the appropriateness of our posts anyway. Why can't the same be applied to links? I have never seen a message board that doesn't allow links before.

If anyone else has any suggestions they would like to make, please post them here!
