It was fun to watch people I recognize go under cover. I like their purpose being to help people who wanted a career in their field get the opportunity. They are feel good episodes.

I like normal people when they act up like they would do if the camera was not on them. Lately, all of the employees acted good.

The DVR did not recognize "Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition" as the same series and did not record it. I have manually set the other episodes to record. Gabby Douglas

The usual. Lots of very good employees with problems, plus workplace problems not being addressed by management (and management is him). We knew the financial problems would be solved. I was hoping Drew Brees would be a bigger part of it, but he wasn't the one who chose to do most of the undercover work.

I remember a place called "Ice Cream of the Future" in a mall near where I live. I haven't seen whether that is still there because when I go to that mall I'm too tired to go all the way around. It's very large. But it could be the same place.
I expected something to be done about the wasted ice cream, but nothing was said.

I also liked the way the man stood up to the boss because the franchises were told management would be hands off. Then five years later, everything changed. The boss seemed disappointed that the gym was making money in spite of the way it was run. I do think the owner should have tried to take bad reviews seriously, but he obviously had no intention of changing. He also should get someone to clean the gym. He did not accept the boss' offer to buy the gym. He chose to make an independent sale. The young man who worked with the elderly free of charge had a wonderful personality. It was a good idea to give him proper training and encourage him to stay by offering him a franchise. In spite of the lady saying she would retire in four years, the boss was generous. It was a good idea to appoint her as a secret shopper because management does not see what is happening at the gyms. |

"Dippin' Dots" When I attended events, I was tempted to try Dippin' Dots. I never did because the price was unreasonable. Of course, children would nag their parents into buying it. The slippery floor and fog led to around 12 slips a day. They must not have been reporting the slips or falls because OSHA would have contacted management. The 19 year old worker was amazing. I have not known anyone her age with that much composure and managerial skills. I think it was the make-up artist's fault that it was so easy for the employee to recognize the boss. His forehead and eyes looked the same as the photos on the walls. |

Their ice cream is way too expensive. I will only pay $2.50, so there aren't a lot of places I can go.
On SNL, Kylo Ren went undercover five years later in an update on an earlier show. Two of his employees got zapped for doing something he disapproved of. Being a "Star Wars" character, you can probably guess what that means.

I want to know how they got the cameras down there, where the boss was uncomfortable and had to be removed after a few minutes. And it's not the first time they've had cameras in similar situations.
