Okay, I've seen it. I never heard of having tea at a coffee shop and apparently the people who runs the restaurants don't seem too interested either. But the one guy wants to change that.
The one guy had several jobs but he was so valuable to The Coffee Bean that the boss had to do something about that.

Referring to an earlier episode, a Falcons fan was going to get to go to the Panthers game. I don't know when it was taped, so I don't know which Panthers game, but it was probably bad. For us.

Taco Beuno
I enjoyed the episode. I have not been to one of those franchises. The boss was very close to his father and spent a lot of time with him; however, it was obvious he does not give his daughters the same level of attention. His mind is always on work.
There were no problem employees. They were dedicated in spite of some of the poor work conditions. The torn seats, pits in the parking lot, wrong type of can opener and computer problems should have been corrected a lot sooner. I was blessed to have employer subsidized medical insurance. Insurance takes a big chunk out of a paycheck and none of them had insurance.
The boss was very generous to his employees and to the warehouse worker, who is not one of his employees. They were all emotional and very grateful.
Becky was promoted and would receive 70% increase, a bonus, and car allowance. He also gave her $10,000 cash plus is covering her hospital expenses for surgery. He will also involve her in selecting more comfortable uniforms.
He offered to mentor Tim through their supervisor training program. He will pay for a trip for two to a Nascar event and cover medical expense.
I hope JJ was telling the truth about eating at their restaurant because he gave him a $2,500 gift card plus $5,000 to host a family reunion. The follow-up said he was a big hit with the family for sharing the wealth.
Erica was given a 20% raise, $10,000 in cash, 30 days off with pay for a doctor visit. The boss also said they are investing $350,000 in upgrades, but I could not tell if that was for one restaurant or several.

The torn seats remind me of a restaurant I used to go to in the mountains. One year the prices were about the same as the place across the street. Now when I am as tired as usually was when I would arrive there, even the short distance and especially crossing five lanes of traffic, even at a stop light, were just too much. The next year, there was still tape on many of the seats, even though the seats used to be really nice. But the waitress gave me my check inside leather, like a fancy restaurant would. This was not a good sign. I ended up paying twice what I had for the same sandwich and I told them not only would I never come back, but with those prices, they'd better do something about the torn seats. This was basically a greasy spoon, about equal to a truck stop! I was curious what was wrong with the warehouse worker's eye. I continue to be amazed at how these employees tell all about themselves knowing it will be on TV. They don't know what show, but they assume it will be seen. And those torn seats were never mentioned.
Tim still had his cast and not one word was said about the injury he had that didn't get treated and wasn't being treated because he couldn't afford it. When I got hurt four years ago, I also had an injury that didn't get treated because the focus was on the more serious one. Still, I had trouble with the other injury even before I went home. But I wasn't going to go through any more surgery or anything like that.
I think $350,000 would have to be several restaurants. You could almost build one from scratch for that.

One more thing. The can opener problem. I quit buying SpaghettiOs because I had a can opener like that. replaced it. That one went bad too. Now SpaghettiOs can be purchased with a top that will just pull off, like soup.

It was interesting watching Darius Rucker try to discover new talent while pretending he couldn't sing. I didn't like much of the music that was performed on the episode, but it was nice to see him make some people happy. Hannah could easily be the next Miranda Lambert. That one song where she showed what she was capable of was one I could be persuaded to like.

I never heard of this chef.
It was nice that like the other bosses, he did so much for those who impressed him.

I checked to make sure this would be taped. It would not have been. I had to create a new season pass. This makes no sense.

The DVR did not recognize "Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition" as the same series and did not record it. I have manually set the other episodes to record.

I wonder why they felt they needed to give her a cane in addition to everything else. I was under the impression she was a former gymnast but she didn't seem to know how to do anything.
And when the truth was revealed, people's reactions were so amazing.
I'm glad she was able to help that first girl. Maybe she'll be in the next Olympics.

Forgot to mention the gymnast had a Mickey Mouse hairstyle. So did Ruby's daughter in an episode of "Good Girls".

Idina Menzel was cute in her wig and glasses.
All those people she worked with were quite talented and hopefully the experience will help them.
But of course when she does sing she's amazing. "Let It Go" is good enough for my Wisconsin radio station.

I enjoyed both episodes very much. During the Olympics, we had a thread where we chatted a lot about Gabby because she was amazing. I am surprised she does not seem very interested in participating in another Olympics like her team mates. (I learned that on the internet.)
I did not recognize Idina's name but, of course, I know who she is. They did a remarkable job with her alter ego and I liked her role as the receptionist. I do understand why she did not want to continue to fool the one lady and revealing who she was did not spoil anything. She gave each person a boost to get their career started and I hope one day we will get a follow-up episode to see how well they do.

Bethany - I do not expect to know any of these people because I only watch stuff on YouTube that relates to TV shows and cast members.
So far, the "wheel of misfortune" has been interesting even though watching some of it made me feel squeamish.

I was so surprised when the twins’ mom hung up on them because she thought they were playing a prank on her.
The dancer was very good and very supportive. I have taken dance lessons and I thought Bethany did a good job with the unfamiliar routine. She was very generous to him and generous to the other participants.
The update was not helpful because none of them had met with the people they needed to meet.

avp60685 The episode that came on tonight was about people who want to grow their YouTube channel. I thought about you the whole time it was on. Bethany, the undercover celebrity, has over a million subscribers, and she was interested in helping other YouTube channels achieve their dream.

The CBS web site usually has the episodes.
I never heard of this girl but she must have made a lot of money from these videos because the boss pays the people he or she helps, not the show.
She had a nice smile that reminded me of the girl that works for "The Mayor", who was also on "Glee". Hulu is showing some episodes of "The Mayor" that ABC did not.
The beat box girl had a nice personality.

Deion Sanders
I enjoyed this one as much as the other celebrity "bosses". I thought his disguise was excellent, but some people who attended the choir recognized him. I think it must have been his eyes that looked familiar because nothing else looked like him.
He was amusing when he acted like his back was hurting and he was too old to push the lawn mower.
He was generous, but I think he should have contributed something to the white guy who gave money and food to the homeless after the choir singing.

I thought he was funny. It wouldn't surprise me that a football player who has been through so much would have trouble doing strenuous work without hurting.
I was surprised he didn't do anything for the choir director.

Jewel
I really enjoy country music and I was disappointed because the first couple of songs sounded dull to me. They did not make me feel anything. I did enjoy some of the music later.
I always want to know about their progress after the show aired. The Handmade Holiday Tour was a success. Nick and Amanda performed with Jewel as Chris painted live on stage. I would have enjoyed attending their performances.
I like Chris teaching art to kids. He has a sweet personality and enthusiasm.
Amanda has enrolled at the Nashville Music Academy and had her first live concert singing her original songs.
The construction worker will get a break from working long hours while taking his daughter to Disney Resort. I thought the child-size guitar was a sweet touch. Jewel was very tactful in the way she mentioned songs should incorporate emotion and arranged for a mentor.

Jewel isn't a country singer. However, some of her music is considered country and some has been played on country radio.
I'm not really interested in feeling anything when I listen to music. I just like music that I like.
That one girl didn't get people's attention until she performed her own music and really showed emotion.

I remember one thing about the gymnastics teacher. His girls in their shorts.
The photographer did a good job and the wrestlers were so nice despite the way they treated each other.
Stephanie McMahon was so timid around these tough guys, but it was just an act. How she really is reminded me a lot of those "Gotham" episodes I've been watching.

Ashley Graham was on "To Tell the Truth". She said she had body parts insured. One was her face. She does have a beautiful face. She wouldn't say what the others were. She also proved she knows nothing about basketball.
On this show, I will say certain women shouldn't wear bikinis. She looks attractive in one-piece suits and other clothes that cover a lot. Other girls without ideal figures can look good and should be given a chance. Even worse, they were calling the girl from Afghanistan a terrorist when she was in school. She was determined to make it.

Watching the Ashley Graham episode made me more sympathetic to the difficulties plus size women have in the fashion world. I did not know there were a lot of large women who wanted to be models or work in the fashion industry because they tend to feature slender models.
Once again, something strange happened. As soon as Ashley was ready to reveal who she was, the TV screen went black and there was only audio. It was the only show that happened to. I missed my favorite part of the show. ***
I am watching a current series named "Dietland" in which women are "fighting back" in ways one would not expect.
