There were two episodes last night. I've only had time to watch the first one. There have also been three since I last posted here. To make matters worse, I need to comment on the last episode that I already commented on.
I'm curious now about what happened with Tristen, who was told she had one last chance. Did she see the video of what she said? Because she knew what it was she had to say was not the way she behaved.
Duffy worked with a girl who talked like Lisa Simpson. Actually, I finally concluded it was more like Carol on "Last Man on Earth", who I have found out also does the voice of a little girl in a cartoon. I've never watched "Bob's Burgers" but she is the voice of the girl with the bunny ears.
I've never seen him doing it, but we have an auctioneer at my church. I've never gone to the auction the church has each November, but if he's a professional, they surely let him do the auction.
Travis had too much to do. Either he should be doing the physical labor or he should be doing the other stuff he didn't have time to do, which Duffy was going to help him with. I need someone to do what Duffy did in my yard, and a man at my church asked if he could do it. He had just done it for his mother. I've done all I can with the lawn mower and really, I should have been keeping up better.
I was amazed a straight man could do design. We're incompetent when trying to do that sort of thing. I did think it looked nice. Brenda talked like Swoozie Kurtz on "Mike and Molly" and, with red hair, she might have even looked like her. The TV character has a foul mouth, though, more like Tristen. At least it's as foul as you could get on broadcast TV.
Wienershnitzel looks like a good place to eat. Though it couldn't be very healthy. I don't think we have any in my area. We used to have Wiener King, but it seemed like my parents and I were the only ones who ate at the one we went to nearly every Sunday when I was a teenager. My father would have eaten hamburgers but I don't like them.
I was amazed with her weight training background that Cynthia couldn't do the lifting. And she commented on that after I realized that. That woman who did the work was amazing.
I couldn't believe that the whole town shut down and the franchise was "written up" or whatever they called it for doing that. I bet that district manager went on to get "written up". That was amazingly generous, just giving those two the $500,000 franchise. That's the largest amount anyone has been given, tied with the goal of the fund for the disabled girl.
These past two bosses have been the only incompetent employees (no Tristen on either one), but that's the fun of watching this show.

I watched the episode but I had never heard of "Wienershnitzel". We have had "Polock Johnny's" for many years and they specialize in Polish hot dogs and their special sauce.
Brock was a good worker but he had trouble teaching the boss. Part of the reason was the board they took the orders from. I think it was confusing that she was only supposed to fill items from part of the screen and the color coding was not consistent. She said she was going to reorganize the screen.
I was also amazed the boss struggled with even one rack after all that weight training. But those racks looked very heavy. If there are 8 hot dogs to a pound, the rack must weigh 100 pounds, probably more. Did you notice the men standing around staring at them? The worker was great.
I wanted to see what she said to the District Manager who was displeased about the store being closed during a storm, but it seemed like they had the final meeting within a week.
The boss was extremely generous.

Nothing about Golden Krust?
The one chef had a great personality.
The talents of each individual chef would be an incentive to eat at restaurants, but the point of a chain is consistency. I was glad one of the chefs got his recipes into the recipe book no one had.

I thoroughly enjoyed Golden Krust. The boss did not seem old, but he had a problem remembering the instructions he was given. When he was taking orders at the counter, he seemed to have attention deficit. The customer was talking to him and it was obvious he was not listening and could not remember the orders. But he seemed to be a very likable person.
I laughed when he slipped on the ice. Prat falls always make me laugh. He was a terrible driver when he was in the forklift. I think that was due to attention deficit also. He was going too fast and not paying attention. The employee was nice about it even before he knew he was the boss.
He said he is a good cook at home, but he seemed nervous when he picked up the big knife. I was not sure if he was serious though. It is a good thing they had excellent chefs in spite of there being no manual or prepared recipes.
I have eaten a lot of patties because the family two houses from me are Caribbean. My daughter spent time with their children and learned to like their spicy food. She then introduced me to the patties and other dishes. All of the dishes are spicier than the food I usually eat.
The boss learned some valuable lessons and took action promptly to correct problems. I like the generous way he helped his employees.

I enjoyed "Stella & Dot", the one about jewelry. I liked the way the boss sat close to her employees on love seats when they had the final interview. It seemed more comfortable and relaxing than the way most of them are seated. She was gracious and generous to everyone except the senior rep. She gave her a pendant and donated money to help cure cancer but she did not give her any money for her personal use. That seems a little thoughtless, but I was happy that she rewarded the other employees. I recorded this one but can't remember whether I saw it. I was counting on being able to find the answer here. If I didn't comment, it probably means I need to watch.

I'm amazed I can still watch "America's Funniest Home Videos", because three years ago I fell in a way that didn't seem all that different from their falls. And yet I couldn't go home for a month. I haven't seen a boss successfully use a forklift yet.

The Twin Peaks episode made me uncomfortable. I know I'm supposed to like how the girls look in those outfits but it bothers me.
Having seen it, I didn't have to again.

I was kind of relieved when the girl who did things her own way wasn't really doing anything wrong.
That one perky girl who did so well has such a hard life and you wonder how she stays so perky.
We don't have a sewer system where I live but it has been talked about. I had to have my septic tank pumped a few years ago. I figure do it before I have to. One time we had to, but fortunately we lived in a split-level house. And we didn't really use the bathroom where ... never mind. Anyway, I guess it all has to go somewhere. I don't think they explained where.
That cop seemed so confident but then her reaction made me halfway expect her to say, "Miss Scarlett I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies!" I don't know what made me think of that.
You would think with all their money the Jackson family would have done more for their city.

I was all set to watch but I found out "Supergirl" was recorded.
I thought I recorded the second hour just in case. There was a basketball game on. But I didn't see it listed. It would have been Fox's "Star" because of a problem I'm having with TiVo. It won't tell me if there was a second hour of the show on another channel. Hopefully there was just one episode this time.

Build-A-Bear Workshop CEO Sharon Price John did quite well as a new employee on most of her tasks. She was generous to all of the employees she worked with, but what I admire most is her willingness to finance their goals even though those goals would not benefit the company.
I have not watched the episode with the mayor yet.

There has been one more since those two. I never heard of New York & Company but I have heard of Lerner Shops. This would explain the perception that it is for older women.
That one store that was a mess had an employee whose husband was in the military. This makes sense because Fayetteville is home to one of the largest U.S. military bases. I'm surprised they couldn't find anything about Fayetteville to show, but it is known for having streets that are one pawn shop and strip club after another. I recognized and was pleased to see the two headquarters buildings of First Union, taken over by Wells Fargo during the early days of the banking crisis and now the East Coast headquarters for that bank. But those are in Charlotte, which isn't even in the same TV market and is at least 100 miles away. They also showed a CATS bus, but that too is Charlotte. So I was expecting a Charlotte store.

8.04 Painting With a Twist 1-4-17
Renee Maloney, co-founder and CFO of Painting with a Twist, goes under cover to meet the employees and see how they make her company a masterpiece.

I don't understand why Renee didn't take Steve's idea about stamping the back of the canvas and use it for all the franchises. Maybe because they are franchises and that wasn't something that could be required.
I also wonder why she revealed herself in the warehouse. Why couldn't they bring the man to headquarters like the others?
On the subject of revealing herself, I don't get why they were sitting in those chairs that looked so uncomfortable. I had to sit in a chair like that at the college library for the longest time when I was using a computer. I was relieved one week when I was in a lot of pain when someone finally listened to me and came up with an easy solution. Why couldn't they have done that before?
The one girl was so good but why did she have no wear a nose ring to meet the boss?

While watching "Painting With A Twist", I understood why you asked if I had seen the episode when some of us were discussing groups meeting to color pictures. I did not know there were places to socialize and paint. I agree the man's idea of using the stamp should have been discussed. The stamp could have indicated the name of the company even if it omitted the individual franchise name. It would still be advertising. She was permitted to go undercover in the warehouse, so it seems likely she would have been permitted to bring the employee to the home office. I wanted them to mention what they do with the canvasses that were not flat. The expense would pile up. However, I was glad she was generous in her gift to him. I have noticed those uncomfortable looking chairs on several episodes, but I doubt that the show provides them since they were at the headquarters. I was shocked that one of the customers had participated over 60 times. They never mentioned the cost, but that seemed bizarre to me. A lot of employees dress strangely to "meet the boss". How about the lady who cried and her false eyelashes were coming off? Why wear false eyelashes to a meeting?

Barry was a very dedicated worker.
Steve was so polite. I agree it wasn't a good disguise because he didn't look all that different.
I don't see how anyone does such disgusting jobs and actually enjoys them.
I want to know who fixed up that house that was nearly destroyed. Does the company do that too?
I have some mold problems myself but I'm not spending the money on these people. I had a toilet that leaked for several weeks and messed up whatever you call what is under the sink. It's made of wood (obviously not very good wood) and has a door. My usual bathroom sink doesn't have anything under it. I cleaned some mold off the walls but it doesn't seem to be a big problem, even if some is still visible.
