“LoveCraft” was an exciting episode. Selina and Bruce learned valuable life lessons from each other. Bruce already has a well-developed sense of responsibility for the welfare of others and it took a while for Selina to understand that. Selina taught Bruce how to avoid the pitfalls of life on the street and to avoid certain people like Ivy.
Their adventure took a dangerous turn when they were betrayed and had to fight for their lives. Bruce showed an admirable degree of courage when he jumped over an opening and onto the next building. Then he showed more courage when he decided to remain and fight when the assassins were close to killing Selina.
Alfred was frantically trying to find his charge and continues to impress me with his fighting skills. I loved the embrace between Alfred and Bruce.
It was nice to see Selina return to Bruce rather than just fade into the night. And, of course, Alfred was not at all fooled.
I agree that it is a shame Gordon was sent to Arkham Asylum, but he pushed the Mayor too far. That place is probably going to be very scary like being in a horror movie.

This past episode was a personal favorite for me.
I loved the interaction between Selina and Bruce and how they narrowly escape the would-be assassins hot on their trail, especially the major leap between the buildings by Bruce! It looked like a scene I just watched of a play-through of "Heavy Rain" where the future killer has to jump between buildings like that.
I really am beginning to respect Alfred more and more. He really knows how to hold his own in a fight and it's obvious that Bruce will definitely learn some great techniques from him!
I worry about Liza now, I fear that Falcone will be told of her real plan and that she works for Fish but I suppose it will be all in good timing!
Jim really is maturing and has shown that he doesn't care who he crosses even if it means the Mayor! The Mayor (Richard Kind) believes he is acting in the best interest of everyone but soon I believe we'll learn that he is even more of a spineless jellyfish and that someone is pulling the strings to make the Mayor act the way he does (I've seen this scenario play out too many times in movies/books/tv, the real leader is the mastermind behind it all and will eventually destroy their precious little 'puppet').
It's a pity we have to wait until January to continue the journey with our heroes and villains but it's going to be one hell of a ride once it starts up again!

McKenzie sounds like a nice down to earth guy...showing up early for interviews and without an entourage. Good for him.

I was 30 minutes into the movie "Thir13en Ghosts" before I realized I had seen it. I had to see the late uncle's house, which was very familiar because of all the scientific achievements.
There was a character, though, who was in the early scenes and in that final scene that I saw before I knew for sure. He reminded me of Penguin.

I am not sure what to make of the episode.
The action was intense and it kept me guessing, Gordon was very intense in it.
Ivy and Selina both were back again but no Bruce or Alfred.
Barbara is trying to get back with Jim, it looks like but has no clue as to what has happened.
Gordon didn't nail the culprit but when the series comes back on the 19th, he might.
Oh well, I enjoyed watching Gordon again though!

I was glad Gordon got to investigate instead of just being a guard, even though he wasn't supposed to investigate.
I liked being able to laugh while watching an episode.
I was never so glad to see Bullock.
The nurse who was actually a patient had a familiar voice. I found out why when they showed the names of the guest stars. She was the cute bubblehead receptionist who always had to speak in rhyme on "Moonlighting". Anyone remember that? Bruce Willis was a detective who didn't like being bossed around my Cybill Shepherd as a spoiled model who ended up owning a detective agency and somehow had to work with Willis on cases. It was a great show. Until they ended up in bed together, and that was the "jump the shark" moment.

Mayor James thought his punishment would force Jim Gordon to be miserable and stay out of his way. Instead, Jim is still acting like a detective and investigating wrongful actions. The COTW involved a mystery of how inmates were being electrocuted without anyone seeing it happen. The asylum administrator kept blaming Gordon for not preventing the crimes, but that accusation was ridiculous and baseless. Jim and Harvey realized around the same time the guilty inmate was Jack Gruber, aka The Electrocutioner, but it was too late to prevent an escape. I am glad Jim can still rely on Harvey to help him when he needs it. I remember Cat warning Bruce that Ivy was someone he should avoid and she was right. Ivy was being malicious when she invaded Gordon’s privacy and antagonized his fiancée Barbara on the phone. Penguin is usually clever, but he made a mistake when he tried to increase the tax on the fishermen without Falcone’s permission. Falcone thinks he has put Penguin in his place, but we know Penguin will eventually retaliate. I thought Butch would betray Fish Mooney by siding with his childhood friend, but he took decisive and fatal action instead. I am not convinced that Butch loves Fish Mooney and I think he might be planning something he has not yet revealed. Trivia: Christopher Heyerdahl also starred in Hell on Wheels and in The Twilight Saga. He was devious and a character to be feared in both of those roles. I loved watching Moonlighting but I did not recognize the nurse. Bruce Willis was so funny in that role and I could tell that he adlibbed some of his lines. It's too bad Ms. Shepherd did not find him as funny as I did.

Jim couldn't have stopped whatever he was supposed to stop.
Ivy was funny. I only like Barbara because she looks good so I don't mind if Ivy upsets her.
Penguin was wrong to act on his own. I guess he will retaliate.
I don't even remember who Butch is but I guess it's not that important.

Butch is important because he is the one Fish Mooney seems to trust even though she treats him like an errand boy. He volunteered to talk and reason with the man who is second in line for leadership behind Falcone. After talking about their times together as children and discussing who could lead the syndicate, Butch met with his friend again and shot him. I thought that was rather shocking.

I was so relieved they didn't do an episode this week.
Somewhere I saw a comment that Penguin was much more than the merely funny character he could have been. He's actually the most dangerous Penguin ever.

Jim really is the most honest cop in his precinct and he is fearless. Since they have not shown us his backstory, I wonder how he became so fearless. Harvey is okay too, but he was too stubborn to wear the rubber boots. I bet the electric shock taught him a lesson. I did not like Jim having to work at Arkham so I am glad he has his detective shield again.
I bet Penguin was praying "Don't kill the messenger" when he told Falcone Liza was a mole for Fish Mooney. I remember how Liza beat up another woman to get the job with Fish so I do not feel sorry for her. Even though she did seem to like Falcone, her good girl persona was all an act.

I can't believe Penguin swore he was not dealing with Falcone or whoever it was. He just assured his mother will die a painful death.
I liked Falcone's phone. I still haven't figured out what year it's supposed to be but the cars are so old.
I really didn't like the episode. I did like Penguin's behind the scenes look, but it was too short considering what we were promised and I don't like having to go online. I have enough stuff to remember to do. At home, my Internet is too slow and there are no speakers.
I did like seeing Jim and Harvey together and they even made as laugh.
Where was Bruce?

Sue Sylvester hasn't actually killed anyone, but in the first and third episodes of this season's "Glee" she seems more evil than anyone on this show or even Mr. Gold and Regina on their show.

When I watched "Glee", Sue started out as a mean person, then she started showing a softer side when they introduced her handicapped sister, and now it sounds as if she is back to being mean again. I stopped watching the show when they focused so much on social issues that I could not truly enjoy the entertainment.

This was a very good episode. Welcome back Jim, but also welcome back Bruce.
Jim Gordon works in the most hostile environment imaginable, but he does not let that deter him from pursuing the investigation. I am beginning to think of him as a super hero because he faces danger but manages to survive. Harvey is still helping Jim, but it has to be tough on him.
I think Cobblepot and his mother were freaking Jim out, but he remained calm and was able to get some assistance.
Cobblepot has dreams of being somebody and making his mother proud. Mooney’s arrival at the club scared him and I hated seeing him kiss her boot. But then, he showed how he really felt about her. He should be grateful that amazing hit man showed up to kill Mooney. At first, I was uncertain about Butch’s loyalty to Mooney, but I am not now. I do not want him to be tortured because he is like a big teddy bear.
Harvey is sweet on Fish.
Bruce was so terribly hurt by the way Selina rejected him. I hope that does not change him.

I just watched the episode!
Jim was determined to get some answers and Harvey tried to get Jim to hold back but Jim did not!
Watching Penguin and his mom gave me a tiny glimpse of what my dad's mom must have been like with him. It almost sickened me to watch it.
The previews really made the torture scenes for Fish seem more intense than they actually were.
Poor Bruce, I think Selina hurt him bad. I know what it is like to be rejected like that, I just hope he doesn't become bitter by it.
Also I am really getting tired of the Nygma love/crush story bit.
The next episode looks like we get a two-parter!
