This episode was much too dark for me, but there were some parts that I enjoyed. I enjoyed Harvey working with Jim and I liked seeing more of Alfred and Bruce. Oswald and Butch make a strange but possibly effective team. I want the club to be a success for The Penguin because people ridicule him and a successful club would give him a sense of self-worth.
I did not like what happened with Fish.
It did seem like the red hood was magical when the security officer's six shots missed the criminal. We have not seen the last of the red hood.
I do not want Barbara and Selina to be friends. Where in the world would those young girls wear those dresses without getting into a heap of trouble? Barbara should be more intelligent than to think her clothes are appropriate for them. I thought Barbara was an educated society lady, but maybe I misunderstood her background.
I am sorry Alfred got hurt, but based on what Bruce told Jim, he suspects the Wayne board had something to do with it.

I really didnt want Alfred to get hurt. On the other hand, we got to hear about his adventures in the military. And we saw lots of Bruce.
Will has a new movie out. I noticed it was advertised. Other than that, I had no interest in Fish this week. On a related topic, "Glee" went back to comedy and Sue Sylvester became nice again.
I liked the scenes with Barbara and Selina. I didn't think about Selina getting in trouble.
I have been buying Cobblestone bread because it has been on sale, and I had a coupon one of the weeks. And it makes me think of Penguin.
The red hood bandits were funny, when they were. The one guy said what sounded ike "D'oh" and even looked like Homer Simpson.

I liked the bits with Jim investigating with Harvey.
I didn't like Fish's drastic decision or what happened to Alfred.
I loved what Selina told Barbara when she rejected the slinky black dress and her 'help'
Bruce is increasing in his skills still and you can see his love for Alfred growing more and more!
Some of the red hood gang reminded me of the crooks in Home Alone 1+2. It was a bit funny yet disturbing to watch them.

I like the title "Everyone Has A Cobblepot".
I enjoyed the way Jim Gordon refused to back down and let the Commissioner continue to corrupt the justice system. Jim is as tough as nails and things will be even more interesting if he becomes head of the union.
Harvey Dent is also fearless, but thank goodness Officer Harvey came to Dent’s and Gordon’s rescue. How many times has Harvey had to rescue Jim?
I know it had to be sickening for Harvey to lie on the video but it is a blessing that Jim was able to retrieve his file so that his bad deed can no longer be used to blackmail him. Harvey is concerned that Penguin will place Jim in an onerous situation.
Just when I started to forget how mean Cobblepot can be, he played a devious and deadly game with the couple who was caring for Miriam. He was deadly cruel.
It was nice of Selina to visit Bruce, but weird that Ivy steals hospital food.
I am not enjoying what is happening on the island with Fish. I am glad she has two eyes, but the scenario is so gruesome that I feel like skipping those scenes. The doctor was cruel to put lady parts on his male assistant.
Nygma looked angry that Tom got the girl and I think he should forget about dating the lady.
Show returns on April 13.

Good article on Taylor. I thought he limped because of his feet and did not know it was because Fish had damaged his knee. He has good reason to hate her.

I almost had to find something else to do once I realized a photo was mgoing to appear. Videos, though, are much slower, especially when several are on a page.

I am not sure where to start on my review of the episode.
I liked Jim playing hard ball showing how ruthless he can be.
The scenes with Bruce at the hospital were bittersweet, I feel badly that he wants to track Alfred's mate who attacked him but he also wants to keep his mouth shut too.
The scenes with Fish remind me of video game walkthroughs I've watched on YouTube, it is only of matter of time until someone in the basement learns the truth about where they are.
Not sure what to make of Penguin, but he is definitely heartless and growing colder with how he treats others.
No new episodes until April? Darn!

I am wondering how Bruce will locate the man without the help of Gordon. Perhaps he will solicit help from the street people because they probably know a lot about what happens in Gotham.

We had a new episode so I'm surprised no one else commented. And I wouldn't be here except there were some mistakes over the weekend.
First, some information not related to the show. I was listening to a radio program yesterday which lasts about five minutes and tells what happened this day in musical history. It was on that day that Count Basie recorded Neal Hefti's "Cute" (the theme for the first hour of "Big Band Jump", which I used to hear a lot on Sundays). Neal Hefti did the theme for "The Odd Couple", I learned when looking at the credits for the new version. His most familiar song may be the theme to Adam West's TV series.
Now about last night.
Apparently Alfred wasn't ready. I have to wonder why he seemed to be bleeding, but maybe he was trying to do too much.
Bruce is too young for what he was trying to do, but he couldn't let Alfred do it and for some reason he couldn't involve the cops.
Jess doesn't do a thing for me. His girls are pretty.
Not sure what Penguin is doing.
I guess Fish's escape was interesting but once again too much violence.
Jim has never been so tough. I don't know what he did with his voice. His girlfriend is, of course, quite pretty.

I watched "Beasts of Prey", but I cannot recall what Gordon and Bullock did.
Bruce and Selina's encounter with Reggie was scary and had a tragic ending, but I am glad Bruce did not kill him. Alfred would be miserable if Reggie had harmed Bruce or if Bruce was forced to kill Reggie. Selina is a strong-willed young lady, but I wonder if what she did will adversely affect her.
I was surprised that Fish thought enough of anyone to go back and rescue her allies. I am glad she will be off of the island because I hated all of those island scenes.

I was glad Selina was on, and of course she made fun of Bruce for not being street smart.
There is a Meroney Theater (or is it Theatre?) near where I live, so naturally that's how I expect Penguin's nemesis to spell his name.

I watched the episode and Jim is growing more intense as a detective I've noticed.
Selina shocked me in some ways but in some ways I wasn't.
I am sorry Fish got hurt but at least she's out of that place with Kelly and the others.
It was good seeing Alfred but he still hasn't healed yet apparently.
Penguin grows more ruthless in his tactics but he wants Moroni dead obviously!
Not much scenes with Lee and Jim together but maybe tomorrow there will be.
Bruce is no pushover but I think Selina may have hardened him, I know he wanted to push Reggie out but she saw him hesitate so she did the deed for him.
I feel sorry for that poor girl, she didn't deserve that, he was obviously keeping her chained up and waiting for the moment to kill her. What a creep! I hope Jim and Bullock get him and get him good ( yes, I want him dead!).

Selina cares about Bruce and knew he would be in danger if Reggie told the people who hired him that Wayne was investigating them. I agree that Selina knew Bruce wanted Reggie eliminated but hesitated to do it. Batman is referred to as "The Dark Knight" and I wonder if he kills people. I always thought his boomerang knocked people out. I will be glad when Alfred gets well so that they can resume Bruce's training.

Gordon and Harvey did a good job investigating the Ogre case. The first victim worked for a doctor and that clue led them to a house where the perp grew up. The story the man’s father told them seemed a bit unlikely. A rich woman befriended the son of her butler. When the son became convinced he was the woman’s son, he demanded to be acknowledged and added to her will. She then ridiculed him and in a rage, he killed the woman. Afterwards, he went to the specialist who did reconstructive surgery to make him handsome. The part that seemed unlikely is that the woman told the man that it was all a big joke and no one would ever love him.
I am glad Alfred is honorable and does not take advantage of Bruce’s wealth the way the Ogre’s family did. Alfred respectfully answered Bruce’s personal questions about killing even though he did not want to talk about it.
I was glad Alfred drove Bruce and Selina to the ball and waited for them. Bruce was considerate to arrange for proper clothing for Selina and she looked very nice. Barbara is nice to Selina and helped her get used to the outfit. I hate wearing high heels so I certainly sympathized with Selina about the shoes. She and Bruce looked sweet dancing together and he was right…everyone was staring at them. Selina did a good job of making a copy of the key they need for the safe.
Nygma to officer Dougherty:
"I can start a war or end one. I can give you the strength of heroes or leave you powerless. I might be snared at a glance but no force can compel me to stay. What am I?"
The flashes of light from the train tracks as Nygma stabbed Dougherty repeatedly were an interesting effect.
Oswald really loves his mother and was extremely upset at Maroni’s treatment of her. He took his anger out on the man who delivered the flowers. He killed the messenger.
Ogre’s playroom had deadly weapons and Barbara looked intrigued instead of frightened.

I liked the way Barbara helped Selina with her clothes. Barbara sure does wear short dresses. But that's not what she wore to the event. I'm getting worried about her now that she's with The Ogre. She does count as someone Jim cares about, so maybe the medical examiner is safe.
I couldn't believe what Nygma did.
I was glad Alfred went along and made sure Bruce and Selina were okay. I hope he continbues to get better.
And I liked the way Selina was able to get that key too.
Nobody better mess with Penguin's mother!
Fish was missing but I didn't even think about her.
I could have done without finding out how long that woman had been dead.

What an episode!
I liked seeing Bruce and Selina together, they are cute together.
It was nice seeing Alfred briefly too, nice to see he is improving.
Jim is tough in his tactics to find 'Ogre' and slowly he's tracking him down little by little.
Nygma and Penguin both are cold blooded in their killings and you see them spiralling further downwards!
I was NOT happy to see Barbara again but I liked her hairdo for the charity ball.
