Just an idle thought that drifted through my head after watching Torn and Frayed: I wonder if Naomi was the angel (or one of the angels) who tortured Cas back into submission after he got dragged back to Heaven in S04.

I think you are right and that would account for the flashbacks Castiel was having. I think Naomi had Alfie killed because he wanted to tell Castiel about her rather than Alfie being compromised. |

I would have like to see Castiel healing or helping more people, to me that would have been more enjoyable than the boring scenes of Amelia.
Or if they would have cut back on some of the torture scenes we could have had a little more of Sam, Dean and Cas talking things thru.
Here's a question-How did Cas find Sam? What happened to the sigils on the ribs that hid Sam and Dean from Cas?
I am wondering how Cas will deal with what he has done when he realizes he is being manipulated, He felt bad enough about what he had done, I am not sure how bad this will affect him.

They spent too much time on the torture scenes and the Amelia scenes. I would have loved to have seen more healing too.
Since those symbols were etched on their ribs, I have no idea what happened. Cas found the town and motel they were in too. If they have something special between them and Cas, I do not remember hearing anything about it.
Castiel will be devastated when he finds out what Naomi made him do. The only upside is Dean and Sam and us have already determined that it is not his fault.
When I watched the video and heard Cas call Dean "friend", it made me feel good all over again.

I am really liking the last several episodes and I love Sam and Dean and am happy to see them working together and have each others back, but I also miss Cas  When is he coming back?  ?? |

I thought it interesting that the official Facebook page for the CW/SPN posted a Valentine's Day wish from "Dean, Sam and Castiel." Not Kevin, or Benny...the one additional character mentioned along with Sam and Dean was Cas. ![]() SOMEONE out there sees him as part of the core unit of the series, enough to include him in the official mention along with the two leads. ![]() |

Hi Anti , I think 8.17 will be back on March 20. Yesterday I watched some of S1 SPN and then I went to S4 with Cas. This show is so good and even if it is not quite what it used to be, it is still far above almost anything else on TV, at least that I care to watch. I like those videos, so much Cas goodness, and Dean and Sam are very nice to look at also. ;D |

I watched Castiel episodes until 1 AM, but that did not help me to calm down.  Hearing about the fears of some fans did not knock me off my rosy pink cloud either.  Celebrating. |

;D, I can understand why you feel that way.
I will say that even though I am happy Cas will be around in S9, I think I was just as happy to hear that we were getting a S9.
I do hope they come up with a good storyline for next season for all of the guys.
