Two eps EVERY weekday morning on TNT! Well aren't you the lucky one, Tinker. For those of us who WORK FOR A LIVING, watching the TNT reruns isn't an option, dammit!!

Plus, I have all the seasons on DVD, so I can watch them whenever. I was just tweaking Tinker (hey, I like saying that), since it would be nice to watch TV during the workday....AND STILL GET PAID!

Aeryn, I had no idea you were a writer. I'm hoping <ahem> you use a few less expletives in your paid work than you do on these boards!! But radiation physics is my calling and computers, linear accelerators and calibration chambers don't talk back , so, for the time being, I'll have to leave the daytime television watching to others. I'll just have to live vicariously through these forums.

Yes, I'm a writer. Depending on the piece, I may or may not use expletives. I'm interested in quantum physics...string theory, black holes, and most especially, the births and deaths of suns. The most beautiful thing I ever saw was a star "nursery."

I love astronomy. When I lived closer to it, I would go to the Griffith Observatory quite often to see the presentations and to look through their Zeiss telescope. That's where I first saw Saturn's rings. It was amazing. I told the astronomer (laughingly) to take down the picture of Saturn he had obviously taped to the business end of the telescope. Fortunately, he laughed, too.

For some reason, although I'm perfectly incapable of doing the math, I love reading about physics and cosmology. I'm a huge fan of Richard Feynman, and although I've endured withering remarks from others in the field about Carl Sagan, he was the one who lit the lamp for me.
I first became acquainted with superstring theory thanks to the writings of Michio Kaku, and have tried diligently to understand Stephen Hawking. Alas, I miss much of it, but even getting 30-40% is exhilarating.
I like astrophyscist Neil deGrasse Tyson a lot and am currently intrigued in the finding of Earth-like planets across the universe. Although I only have a minor in science (zoology) I know enough to realize that the only rational course for human survival is to establish bases on other planets, as it is likely that a catastrophic event on this one will eventually wipe out all that we've accomplished.

I love Michio Kaku. I've seen him on many programs about space, and he's a lot of fun.
Though, Brian Cox is pretty good too. And he has pretty lips.

Well, I'm going to catch up on the two Tom Clancy books I bought a few months back and haven't started reading yet. Glad to hear the monkeys who run CW are going to at least re-run some episodes until Supernatural returns in 15 more days. Maybe they HAVE learned something about keeping the fans happy instead of just flinging their poop around their cages.

Glad we're getting two episodes of season 7 Supernatural each week during mini-hellatus, but man, I wish CW would be a little more careful in the sequencing. I'm having trouble keeping the storyline straight.

I do three things.
1) I bought the S1 dvds for a friend who had never seen the show. Seeing it again thru her eyes reminds me of the good old days, when there were two main characters, not one.
2) Most of my fannish online time is spent on Tumblr now, as opposed to here, where it's more about celebrating the brothers and not about spoilers and cattiness.
3) Speaking of spoilers, again I wish I'd never read them. But based on the spoilers, my third thing is try and get over Supernatural because, from the spoilers, it seems they are finally killing off what's good about the show and I need to distance myself from the disappointment.
I guess I need to find a new show to obsess over, although it's hard to imagine. I have never felt, and I can't imagine feeling about any character the way I do about Sam Winchester- so much identification and yes, idolization. He rocks, and I'll miss him.

Thank God this damned hellatus ends this Friday, the 16th. I'm hoping there will be no more hellati for the remainder of the season. I'm already having difficulty following the season since CW has run repeats OUT OF ORDER!

This has been the best hellatus ever!!!!! Of course I went to a Con and wrapped my arm around Jensen briefly for a photo op. Now I just sit at my desk at work staring at my autographed Supernatural photos and the pic of me and Jensen. I love my work station now. Hellatus rocks!!!! ;D

Looks like we're going to have one more stupid hellatus before the end of the season. After the March 30 episode.....no more new episodes until April 20. I hate CW!

Tom Petty. Woo-hoo. Become a writer like me, and then you CAN watch TV during the day...AND STILL GET PAID! If you've got it flaunt it. SN is too late for me but i usually do catch Charmed. And maybe the first SN.
