Ooh...I like that. Maybe you should write the script and make us all happy.

I think some of the fans could write more interesting stories than some of the writers can, If I never see another episode like Bitten it will be too soon. the last 3 episodes will all have Cas and the descriptions that are coming out sound good, but I am wondering about the last episode and what will happen.

Misha should have gotten an award for his acting in "The Rapture."

Cleaned off the old Divine cloud server, dumped everything to a 1TB external. Found a couple-three Misha BTS pics I hadn't seen before, one is really intense. I look at something like that and wonder: "what was going thru his head to cause a fierce & focused expression like that?"

anicat That is interesting. Were the pictures taken during an actual scene or do they look like candid shots of Misha? The "Divine" episodes were really intense.

But he is in civvies, not his Father Christopher costume. Maybe sitting in makeup? Judging from a bit of table in the background. Could be before changing, like at the very start of that film day. Getting into the headspace of that day's pages. The other two are also cool, but in-character BTS shots.

Please watch "Stairway to Heaven" before reading.Holy crap on a cracker! Castiel cannot catch a break. I thought this was going to be his season to come out on top and be the hero. Instead, he got kicked to the curb AGAIN! I am so disappointed. Castiel seemed at a loss for words after the verbal attack by Metatron, but he hoped the angels would trust him. Dean did more damage to Castiel when he lashed out at him about previous deceptions. Sheesh! Castiel is not taunting Dean about his deceptions. For one heart-stopping moment, I thought Castiel was going to harm Dean to "prove" his loyalty to the angels. From Dean's expression, he thought so too. Dean and I are glad he did not. I no longer think we are going to get a happy ending. And... the statement "I look into your eyes and I do not see an angel in them" made me realize we were headed for a huge disappointment.

Anti, I think the line you quoted about looking into his eyes, I kind of think that may be Cas's grace is waning and he no longer has certain angelic characteristics and abilities. and No, he can't catch a break, he did his job for thousands of years and watched humanity, he dared to care for humans and always tried to do what he thought was best and what God wanted him to do. He cared for both his families even though they both turned their backs on him. I do think Dean and Sam realize now what Cas has given up and what is going on with him. I do wish he would have told the angels the truth about Metatron, that if his grace hadn't been taken by Metatron he would not have stolen anyone's else's. I don't know why Cas can't stand up for himself sometime, he didn't have any problem last week with Gadreel. It was in Dean's eyes that he thought Cas was going to hurt him, but I don't think Cas can hurt his family, at least not Sam and Dean. Anti, you are exactly right, Cas never throws it back in the Winchesters face when they do devious things. I thought we were moving away for the Cas sacrifices himself scenario, but now I just don't know.

The whole "borrowed grace is failing" scenario worries me. That can't end well unless somehow Cas' own grace is retrievable. November, regarding Cas' sacrificing himself, I don't know either, but after this episode, I feel that he will. On a brighter note, we know he will be back next season.

If it wasn't for the fact that we know Misha is signed for S10 I would be so scared for him in this finale, and based on the little snippet I heard about the finale from the guys themselves at the upfronts this morning, it is going to be a long summer and we will be nervous wrecks until the show comes back.

When I saw your post, I checked out the upfronts and saw the pretty pictures, but I did not view the videos because I was having computer issues. I saw something about the direction Dean is headed but nothing about Castiel. Should I try to watch the clip with 2J's and Misha?

Hi Anti, , I watched the videos from TV fanatic, and they didn't spoil anything, nor do they give any real information. All 3 videos were short but it was nice to see the guys so happy, they all looked happy and were joking a little with each other. But those are the only videos I have saw and I saw the promo pictures and I am not going to let myself look at any more information I want to view it as spoiler free as possible.

November, thanks. I want to watch it without being spoiled also. I will NEVER forget how people were talking about Cas killing all of those angels (when he was Levi!Cas) before I saw the episode. I was so upset that they had ruined that for me. I am a little excited to see what happens now that I am over my initial disappointment. Thanks for being level-headed about it all. I feel maternal toward Castiel and I do not want anyone picking on my baby.

, I know Anti, I don't like people talking bad about Cas either. SPN is about the Winchester brothers and always will be, but I think Cas has been made part of the family and I think he deserves to be a part of the family. No one but Bobby has fought with and for the guys as much as Cas has. Even though I don't trust Gadreel I think he did say a profound thing in the last episode, he said he had made mistakes and that they had ALL made mistakes, and that is true, not one of them is totally clean of making mistakes.

Yes, they have all made life-changing mistakes. I think they might have gotten past Gadreel borrowing Sam's body after a while, but killing Kevin is a mistake I do not think Dean will ever forgive.
Wow...if Castiel's grace continues to diminish, MoC Dean might be stronger than him. That should be interesting.

So, over a week from the finale and I still can't get over the ending of Demon Dean, grieving Sam and dying Cas. I know Misha is signed on for next year and that is great, but I have absolutely no idea what they will do to fix things next season.
Personally I never wanted to see Demon Dean, but I know Jensen will make a memorable demon, wonder if now that he has the strength, he might kill some demons?
I also don't know how Cas will get his grace back, and I would think that he would have to have his own grace since stolen grace doesn't seem to be working. Maybe they can beat up Metatron to get it back, he needs to be punished for what he did to Dean, Sam and Cas, and Kevin and Gadreel

Will Dean kill demons while Crowley is his mentor? I am also thinking that since Crowley could not control Cain, he might not be Dean's boss either as long as Dean has the MoC. Cas does think Dean is dead and he is not strong enough to bring him back to life. My biggest concern for S10 is how Cas will return to full power. I never liked Metatron even before he betrayed Cas and Dean never liked him either.

That show is really funny and Misha should have fun.

So, a couple of weeks ago at JIBcon, Misha mentioned that when they were filming 9.23 that during a few takes of the scene where Cas hears that Dean has died that he cried, but they cut it. I also read that they had cut part of the scene where Sam is crying over Dean to a shorted version of that scene.
My opinion only, is that it would have made a huge impact to see an angel crying over a dead human/humanity, we have angels look sad before but we have never seen them show that kind of emotion before and I think it would have made a bigger impact. Actually I would have like to have seen a longer scene with Sam and Dean also, and cut out some of Metatron's yapping.
