Two of the fan favorites will die in the first episode. "No one is safe" according to the producers. They are adding new characters.Stephen King is "tweeting" the script by using a typewriter.

The people who work on the show seem very impressed with Stephen King's script and that makes me even more excited. They let King change the story from the book and said he came up with stuff they never even thought of. TheFlashFan Did you finish the book?

2 deaths in the first episode of season 2 will indeed be saying good bye to 2 of them.

no but going to start read it tonight again That's good. The ending was something I would never have guessed. Even though they are changing some stuff for TV, I think it would be nice if you see the original plan.

2 deaths in the first episode of season 2 will indeed be saying good bye to 2 of them. I do not think they will trick us like some shows do. Other shows say we will be shocked and sometimes I don't even remember the character they kill off. My random guess is Junior and the red head teenager. I don't think they want to kill off Big Jim, but his schedule is very busy so they might do it for that reason.

Kudos to Stephen King. He wrote an exciting script and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. They were truthful about killing people.

Oh he wrote it? I just was not expecting such a big death. I hadn't read any hints or anything on the ep.

When Sheriff Linda threatened Big Jim, I thought she would become a stronger character than in last season, but they shocked me, and I am unhappy with what happened to her.
The final scene was totally unexpected. I am still shocked...I thought she and Barbie were the main characters. Why was she killed?
Does anyone else think the mysterious girl is the sister that Sam mentioned killed herself 9 years ago?

I saw Stephen King's name in the credits. When I saw who he was, I remembered Angie giving a man coffee. I taped it, so I was able to go back. Yes, that was him.
I didn't want Linda to die.
There's just too much stuff getting destroyed and too much weirdness. I'm not saying this show will end up like "Revolution" for me, but it's just not quite what it was.
Wile E. Coyote did what the dome did. He gave Bugs Bunny a metal carrot but Bugs didn't eat it. The consequences for the coyote were much worse than those for the town.
That was such a pretty church. Now you know they wrecked it by CGI because there's no way they would ever allow anything to happen to the real church.

I found the Stephen King scene in the diner, approximately 40+ minutes in (including commercial breaks).

Lindas death makes no damn sense. The only one outside of Barbie who had the means to stand up to Big Jim and protect the town! Angies death also felt cheap like it was just done for shock value. I'm really disappointed that they'd kill off two strong female characters. I also really liked Dodee.

@smallvillian0 makes a good point. They killed off three good female characters - Dodee, Linda and Angie. They had already killed one of the mothers and the owner of the diner. After watching the final scene again, I think maybe Angie saw something in the locker that marked her for death. Such a waste of a good character.
