Sorry folks...I have disliked Norrie's character from day 1. She gave her mothers the blues and acted out the whole time she was with them. The only time she showed that she cared about her mothers is when they were near death. She continues to annoy me with her pouting and anger. The focus needs to be on survival rather than on a teenager's temper tantrums. Other than that, I am really enjoying the episodes. SoCal Are you up to date for the show?

And the similarities to "Vertical Limit" just keep on coming. People falling off a cliff, trapped in an underground tunnel, others trying to rescue them with explosives, people having trouble breathing. At least here the explosives didn't keep going off before they got to where they were going, killing people in the process.
At least it was entertaining, even if they had to deal with another crisis that could have ended everything.
I'm glad Norrie and Melanie are getting along better.
Big Jim's voice sounds weird these days.

Spoilers if you have not seen the episode of August 11.
“Going Home” was a nail-biting, cliff-hanging, surprise filled episode and I loved it.
What a coincidence…Zenith is both Barbie’s and Melanie’s home town.
Barbie decided to explore the darkness in the tunnel and retrieve Sam’s body. When his rope broke and they were sliding, my body tensed and was trying to help them. Lol
Oh my goodness, Barbie said the 3 words a woman waits her whole life to hear…then he cut the rope and disappeared into darkness! Julia screamed! The science teacher, Rebecca, thought “Thank goodness!” because his weight was pulling them over the edge of the cliff too.
There was never a tunnel under the school before. “Where did it come from? Why is it here?”
Barbie awakened in a playground! In Zenith! A billboard said Domeday 17. Another billboard said #Dometruth.
Sam is also in Zenith and went to Davison Psychiatric Institute to visit his sister.
Joe is so smart and he thought of using a small drone to explore the darkness in the tunnel.
Big Jim scared Rebecca because he was angry that she lied about Barbie. I thought he was going to kill her.
Welcome home Barbie. Barbie was jumped by some of Maxine’s criminals but was able to get away.
Lyle is also in the psychiatric ward and kept saying “Melanie”.
In spite of his obvious daddy issues, Barbie wants Daddy's help to get him to the dome.
I enjoy the light shows that the egg demonstrates and it is an excellent artist.
I think it is unrealistic for all of them to walk and stand on the edge of the abyss without fear of accidentally falling in. I have felt vertigo within 3 feet of a deep drop.
There was a close up of a red door that Barbie and his father walked past. Very mysterious.

I left something important out last week. The similarities to "Vertical Limit" just keep coming. I liked watching Julia almost get pulled off the cliff. I don't know why. In the movie, falling off a cliff meant death. And when Barbie cut the rope, he was doing exactly what the father did. If he hadn't, he and both his children would have died. I'm really glad they chose to get these people out from under the dome. It's about time we saw life on the outside. Now the show is exciting again. This show is filmed in the Wilmington area so I assume that was Wilmington. A billboard said WEQT and I just wonder if that was originally WECT. I think I remember the CBS logo, which would be understandable, but WECT was only a part-time CBS affiliate and since Wilmington now has a full-time one, WECT would have had the peacock. That would be out of the question. And an important question to ask: www.gocomics.com/shoe/2014/07/24

KyleEl Good question. I was very impressed with the way they got people outside of the dome. I did not expect that and it is an excellent way to view the dome situation from a world view. It was mentioned that the no trespass radius around the dome is ten miles out. I am surprised military and science personnel are not stationed closer so that they could study group dynamics inside the dome. I was surprised that Barbie's family is rich and powerful.

If Barbie does get back inside, it will be embarrassing for Big Jim because he was in a rush to hold the memorial service for Barbie.

I am still enjoying it too. I guessed correctly that the red door that Barbie and his father walked past is the way into the Dome. Barbie's father must have been monitoring conversations that took place inside the dome in order for him to know about the egg.
Although the dome let some people leave, I do not think that is a guarantee others would survive if they took that leap of faith.
I thought the shot that Sam gave Dwight Yoakum would kill him. He fooled me that time.

That made me laugh. I guess you think the dome does not like Big Jim.
I should have mentioned that Phil surprised me. I did not know why he was so angry at Big Jim until he said he was shot because he was helping Big Jim.

I would not climb down the ladder. I would not walk through those tunnels. I would not get within 10 feet of the edge of the cliff.
Too many weird things happen in Chester ' s Mill.

tonight episode is called the red door. The Red Door
Barbie is apprehended by mysterious men and relentlessly interrogated about the Dome. I bet Barbie does not give in to pressure from the interrogation. I hope we find out what Barbie's father wants the egg for.
