Oh my goodness, there is so much uncertainty and death. This was an exciting episode and the movement of the dome did kill a man while he was in his car. I wondered if we would ever see Joe's friend, Ben, again. It's nice to see he is still alive, but he seems disenchanted now.
So Lyle and Big Jim were rivals. No wonder Big Jim did not like or trust him. Lyle preferred death to letting Big Jim have the love of his life. My regret is that Lyle did not sing for us again.
James is the kiss of death, first Angie and now Melanie.
I wonder if there really is a way out.

It is too bad that Barbie and others think his father did not keep his word and return the egg. We know that he tried.

No one else wants to take a chance on finding out what will happen if they go where she did.

That's it. I've had it with this show.
No Angie, so nothing to watch, really. The whole thing has gotten ridiculous.

I think the show did a great job of expanding the original plot. I enjoyed every episode and I hope we get another season. The writers for this show are very talented and can certainly make an interesting story about the tunnel and where Melanie will lead them. When Melanie said "Let's go home", I was surprised because Chester's Mill is "home" to most of the people.
I always thought Barbie should have been the chosen one and I was very happy to see the butterfly lead him to the exit.
Leaving an injured Julia, a heartbroken James Junior and a vengeful Big Jim on one side of the chasm and everyone else on the other side is not ideal. I think Junior could make the leap, but that would leave Julia vulnerable. Big Jim would do something to hurt her.

They did answer my question about Norrie's mother and she is with the group in the tunnel.
What was the point of adding the young boy to the group? The boy's father, Tom, died in a horrific manner, first by being crushed and then lightning struck the house and presumably he was burned to death. Considering that horror, the boy adjusted very well. Did Tom do something in a previous episode that might have angered the dome? I do not remember him being special.
Where is Joe's dog? He was a hero in the book.

If tax incentives for TV and movies are ended it has been stated this show will go somewhere else. It would be hard to recreate Chester's Mill, though they could just use buildings we've never seen or build sets that look the same. And I agree about Big Jim and Julia. They went too far with Big Jim.
