I hope they let Stephen King write one of the scripts. I enjoyed the one he did this past season.

I think the show did a great job of expanding the original plot. I enjoyed every episode and I hope we get another season. The writers for this show are very talented and can certainly make an interesting story about the tunnel and where Melanie will lead them. When Melanie said "Let's go home", I was surprised because Chester's Mill is "home" to most of the people. I always thought Barbie should have been the chosen one and I was very happy to see the butterfly lead him to the exit. Leaving an injured Julia, a heartbroken James Junior and a vengeful Big Jim on one side of the chasm and everyone else on the other side is not ideal. I think Junior could make the leap, but that would leave Julia vulnerable. Big Jim would do something to hurt her. Regarding "home", North Carolina legislators will have to decide that issue. If tax incentives for TV and movies are ended it has been stated this show will go somewhere else. It would be hard to recreate Chester's Mill, though they could just use buildings we've never seen or build sets that look the same. And I agree about Big Jim and Julia. They went too far with Big Jim. I read that instead of incentives, they're using grants. "Under the Dome" has gotten most of the grant money. So it is filming here next season and apparently everything will look the same if they want it to.
