Although the title is "Red Door", the description just talked about Barbie's interrogation. Who do we think will go through the door first?

"Red Door" was exciting and I really enjoyed it. I think Hunter will add some humor to lighten the drama.

Yes, Big Jim was shocked. I am sure Junior will be shocked and very hurt that Mom left him.
The previews had a surprise for us. I bet Kyle will like it.

I do like the show better now with all the activity outside the dome. And now we know how to get in.
There's a lot of exciting stuff going on now that we don't know about. Or at least the people inside the dome don't know. We sort of know.
Julia still looks great.

Angie's return was one of the things I didn't like abut that episode. She was just creepy. And she was bleeding.
This week's episode should have been the finale but should have ended with Big Jim throwing the egg away.
That would have been a good cliffhanger. Here's why. North Carolina's legislature has yet to approve continuing incentives for movies and TV shows to film here. I have already seen a newspaper article that says "Under the Dome" will not return to the Wilmington area if they don't do something at the last minute. I have to wonder how, if there is a season 3, they will continue to have the same Chester's Mill buildings. They could recreate them somewhere else, I suppose. And they already wrecked the church, so they now have to avoid showing the church when they film. Also Joe and Angie's house.
Of course, not being able to film in the same place doesn't mean that everyone could escape. They would no longer be "under the dome".
I thought it was too easy giving everyone a way out. But there had to be some reason why they couldn't all escape. Wow, everyone who did leave is back. Or dead.
That's terrible to give everyone hope and then take it away like that.

Oh, sure, there's another way out but the show is more exciting as long as there isn't.
I wonder how Julia keeps her skin looking so good. It's possible the dome hasn't affected her skin care products.

I am really enjoying the episodes. I agree with Big Jim's wife that he is narcissistic and thinks he knows what is best regardless of the opinions of others. His family has made it clear they want nothing from him, but he still thinks they will live as a family unit. I know some men like that so I know his reaction to his wife's response is not unusual. Phil sure got a bum deal.  I want to like Hunter and I hope he is truly trying to help the Chester's Mills people, even if they have to leave North Carolina.  I think Melanie did an about-face too quickly in forgiving her BFF because she seemed really angry, then two minutes later, they were BFFs again. But I guess that is not really important. If they still had the egg, it could heal Julia quicker like it did when she was shot. Barbie was awesome the way he stuck by Julia and she should never doubt him again. Question: Where is Norrie's lawyer mother? I do not think she died in the episode when the dome was magnetized. I hope I said the character names right; I have a very difficult time remembering the names. |

I like Melanie and I am glad she was not the one who killed Angie. She is important to the show, but I have no idea how or why the egg is connected to her.
Next week's episode looks frightening. I applaud whoever is coming up with the disasters the people face.

I sure am glad the cold lasted only one week. That was scary. Reminded me of "The Day After Tomorrow" and in that movie, when it got cold, it was too cold to survive outside. I didn't think Julia was going to make it. And they messed up her pretty face. Barbie is to be admired. It's amazing he cares so much about her after such a short time.
Even though I didn't know that the dome was going to shrink, I thought that's what it was doing this week.

I thought about the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" also while watching it. The only thing that upset me about that movie was the death of the father's best friend, which I did not think was necessary since the son knew how to survive. So I am glad that Under the Dome did not let Julia or Barbie freeze. The dome was rotating and sinking, but they did not go into a lot of detail about that. I wanted to know more. Next week, the shrinking dome should cause a panic. |
